Such a great dinner! Wonderful job with French Pop Up. Deep hearty French flavor left us with big smile. Exceptional service from whole team. We felt the holiday hospitality and can't wait to be back! Boudin with pomme pure and jus was extra ordinary! Merci Chef!

I was nervous walking up to the restaurant because I don’t love ordering counter service and then finding a table. Luckily, I had made a reservation on OpenTable and they sat us immediately. The courses were perfectly curated and timed! The Wagyu meat was disappointing but the butternut squash soup was incredible. I would love to come back to try another menu & I’ll be making a reservation for that again!

We have eaten at many restaurants here in Austin, and I struggle to get past the price of Birdie's.Tonight's dinner was $120pp out the door. The value was more like $80pp out the door. I can eat at any of the Uchi restaurants for that, have amazing food, and be just as full. Different cuisine, but the taste at both strives to be top notch. The price for the value will keep me away from Birdie's.

We were seated indoors last night and I asked to move because of the chilly from the AC - so we sat in the enclosed outdoors with heaters - much better! If you need soft seating like we do as seniors, you might think about bringing your own.... but the service and food was outstanding.

Good food and polite service, but for the price I’d rather eat at another nice restaurant. Price on Google is misleading. You will be spending $109 at a minimum after taxes and fees.
The November 2025 menu was immaculate. The dishes were very fall-reminiscent, and in terms of quality, not a single dish disappointed.
The staff was inviting and helpful, the atmosphere was great. Apparently the pre fixe menu rotates each month so I plan to visit again and hope they can replicate the quality of my first visit.

We had such a great time at Birdie’s. From the drink in line while we waited for the table, to the excellent and attentive service and the fantastic food it was 10/10. The wine list was so well curated and there was a solid list of by the glass wines to choose from. Shout out to Justin for some great recs in Austin as well as great service. We had a fantastic time and will be back next time we’re in Austin!

There’s a lot of hype around this restaurant and I was excited to finally get to go. I would say all things considered this restaurant was pretty good but not $135 per person good. It was surprising that the main entree is a trout and to get the wagyu you have to pay an additional fee. I would say the pasta could be a bit better and the ambiance doesn’t match the price.
