Absolutely phenomenal dinner — a total home run! From the warm greeting to the smooth flow of each course, everything felt elevated. The prix fixe menu was spot‑on: fresh greens, crispy mozzarella sticks with light, flavorful breading, and a comforting, delicious soup. The mains? Incredibly fresh, well‑seasoned, and so satisfying. And the desserts — amazing — the kind you keep thinking about on the drive home. Loved having so many great course options to share with my girlfriend. The wine list is global, thoughtfully curated, and offers a great range of prices. Overall: unforgettable dinner, fantastic ambiance, and truly exceptional execution from start to finish. Will absolutely be back.

The food was out of this world! Absolutely loved the menu and the choices. The wagyu short rib, apple-cabbage soup, and beet salad were the best! The toughest part of the meal was the noise level of the music. It was loud, 1970's, hard rock music, which is not the best for dining. As the evening progressed, the music got tamer and not quite so loud. I almost think that the early evening hard rock was music for the kitchen to cook by. Would love to come back for the summer menu. Hope to see you soon!

Service was attentive and like a well oiled unit! Timing for each dish was perfect and each team member was pleasant and knowledgeable. Northern Italian menu where each dish was harmonious and well prepared. The suggested wine was as described and paired excellently with the meal.

Such a great dinner! Wonderful job with French Pop Up. Deep hearty French flavor left us with big smile. Exceptional service from whole team. We felt the holiday hospitality and can't wait to be back! Boudin with pomme pure and jus was extra ordinary! Merci Chef!

Excellent service, they were very attentive. The food was amazing. Definitely worth the money.
I was nervous walking up to the restaurant because I don’t love ordering counter service and then finding a table. Luckily, I had made a reservation on OpenTable and they sat us immediately. The courses were perfectly curated and timed! The Wagyu meat was disappointing but the butternut squash soup was incredible. I would love to come back to try another menu & I’ll be making a reservation for that again!

We have eaten at many restaurants here in Austin, and I struggle to get past the price of Birdie's.Tonight's dinner was $120pp out the door. The value was more like $80pp out the door. I can eat at any of the Uchi restaurants for that, have amazing food, and be just as full. Different cuisine, but the taste at both strives to be top notch. The price for the value will keep me away from Birdie's.

We were seated indoors last night and I asked to move because of the chilly from the AC - so we sat in the enclosed outdoors with heaters - much better! If you need soft seating like we do as seniors, you might think about bringing your own.... but the service and food was outstanding.
