Such a great dinner! Wonderful job with French Pop Up. Deep hearty French flavor left us with big smile. Exceptional service from whole team. We felt the holiday hospitality and can't wait to be back! Boudin with pomme pure and jus was extra ordinary! Merci Chef!
I was nervous walking up to the restaurant because I don’t love ordering counter service and then finding a table. Luckily, I had made a reservation on OpenTable and they sat us immediately. The courses were perfectly curated and timed! The Wagyu meat was disappointing but the butternut squash soup was incredible. I would love to come back to try another menu & I’ll be making a reservation for that again!
The food and service are great-top notch. My husband loved the beef. We have eaten at many restaurants here in Austin, and I struggle to get past the price of Birdie's.Tonight's dinner was $120pp out the door. The value was more like $80pp out the door. I can eat at any of the Uchi restaurants for that, have amazing food, and be just as full. Different cuisine, but the taste at both strives to be top notch. The price for the value will keep me away from Birdie's.
