Food (enchiladas and other orders at table) was actually terrible and could only taste salt. Took forever to get the food and we could it had been sitting for a long time. They charged a 20% tip yet the food was terrible and the time to serve was terrible. They are trying to make money off of alcohol drinks it seems. We will never go there again.

Fantastic tex-mex menu and great staff.
It was a bit slow when I went in, but the atmosphere was perfect for parties or sport events. Looking forward to sampling more of the food.

I found Blue Agave on Google maps when I was searching for a restaurant to eat at after a long week at work. I honestly didn't even know it was there until I found it on Google maps. I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! The restaurant itself is very nice. It was clean, the staff was welcoming and the murals were unique.

We ordered the queso and guac for appetizers and the guac was smooth and tasty. You could tell the avocados were ripe and used at the perfect time

The margaritas we got were great too! I got the frozen mango margarita. We were there for happy hour so they were a great price too.

My son ordered chicken tenders and he loved them (what kid wouldn't love chicken tenders?) and he's under 12 so he ate for free.

I ordered the shrimp tacos with the cilantro lime rice and the street corn. Everything was delicious and it was some of the best street corn I've ever had.

My girlfriend got chicken enchiladas and I was able to taste them. The chicken filling had a great flavor and just the right amount of spice.

We finished with some churros for dessert and they were great too. I'm surprised that churros aren't available at every Tex Mex restaurant, so when they are on the menu I will order them.

I'm so glad we tried Blue Agave today. I think I've found my new go to Tex Mex restaurant. I live in this area and have tried most of the Tex Mex restaurants around this area and my opinion is this is he best of the bunch.

Do yourself a favor and check it out. You wont be disappointed.

A group of girlfriends and I went for a ladies night Monday night, and it wasn't crowded and by the time we left around 9:00 there was no one else in the restaurant. Our waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable, and if we asked him something he didn't know, he would go check right away. The place is chic and clean, with a kinda upscale yet chill vibe, and a large covered patio area with some yard games. There also seems to be some sort of private dining room off the main room, but I'm not sure what it's for, it just has a very large table in it. We ordered the queso and green sauce with the chips and salsa which was all delicious! My meal was the shrimp tacos which have some spice for sure, but are honestly some of the top shrimp tacos I've had in the area, and I eat shrimp and fish tacos everywhere! They were super flavorful and just really well done. I ordered the squash and street corn on the side which were nicely seasoned, although the one thing I didn't care for about the street corn was how watery it got once you mixed it all together. Maybe draining the corn a little bit more might help? For a drink I got the Agave Light which was the perfect sweet but not too sweet. My friends enjoyed their food and drinks as well. Definitely a place to check out!

Finally got to check out this place and so glad we did. The drinks were great and the food was awesome!! They actually had tasty and somewhat spicy salsa (green)!!!! The waitstaff was great and the prices very reasonable. Can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu on the back porch when the weather improves.

The bartenders were friendly, the space has a very open floor concept but the food is okay at best.

We stayed the evening with chips and salsa, served as a courtesy. We ordered two frozen margaritas.

Our reason for a 3-Star rating comes from the food portion, temperature and quality.

We tried the chicken enchiladas, which have some spice to them and come with two sides. We had the Spanish rice for this dish with refried beans and they placed them on the dish at different times because the beans were really hot and the rice was room temperature. Overall: 6/10

We also had steak fajitas for one (pictured upon being served), which I would avoid. The skillet was served hot with a very small amount of meat and for the $28 price tag isn’t justified. The flavor was similar to mainstream restaurants like Chilis. The biggest drawback was that the meat did have a slight rubbery pull, likely from not pulling the layer of membrane completely off the meat before cooking. The reason of paying so much for fajitas meat is to avoid that and have a good quality cut of skirt steak - this was not what was expected. We had this with cilantro rice (better than the Spanish rice) and refried beans. 0

For the price paid ($40 per person) for what you get, I’d look into alternative Tex Mex options in the area.

Best part were chips and salsa. Ordered Mexican martini and frozen blue agave margarita. Both tasted horrible. Ordered loaded tots; ok but queso tasted odd. Opted not to order dinner based on drinks. We paid because we ordered. Interesting the waitress didn’t even bother to ask why we didn’t drink our drinks.

I believe this place replaced the ZTejas that was here and is a good addition. They accomodated our large party. It's a pretty open environment, with high ceilings but cozy. The Fajitas and the Quesadillas were delicious. The drinks were a little watered down.

We came here for lunch and this basically met expectations. The dishes we tried were all decent - tasty even - but pretty par for the course for Tex Mex. I was honestly hoping for something a bit more and maybe unique, given all of the good reviews, but it is very standard and predictable fare. Portions are decent, but should be for the price. We did have leftovers. Service was good. A solid 3.5 overall.

I am visiting my parents that live locally. My mom and I stopped by for lunch last week and today we went back (that alone should tell you it’s good) for a late lunch with both my mom and dad. We all said that the food is super tasty. The staff during both times we stopped in was amazing! Oh…..did I mention the drinks???? They were fantastic! Go here, you will not be disappointed…..
