We had such a wonderful experience at Blue Lacy Restart thanks to Gaulap, one of the best service staff we’ve ever met! From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect for us.
The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented — every dish looked and tasted amazing. Gaulap went above and beyond to check on us, offer suggestions, and make us feel truly valued as guests. His friendly attitude and professionalism made our visit so much more enjoyable.

Staying at Hotel Origin and dining at Blue Lacy was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt like part of the family. Jim — who I believe is the manager — is truly one of the kindest, most welcoming humans I’ve ever met. I literally told him he’s my new best friend! Every morning, he made my day brighter just by being himself. Chef Sonia’s food is outstanding, and Josh was equally wonderful when Jim was off. There’s such a genuine warmth and connection among the team — it’s rare to find a restaurant that feels this special. Can’t wait to come back!

Came here for breakfast after arriving to Austin! Such a fun, cute, hip place. Outside seating. Offered free mozzarella sticks for the table and they were DELICIOUS!!!

Food terrible, cocktails poor - this is such a great location, if they just upscaled it, it would be fantastic, but instead they went cheap and it is awful. Skip it (unless they flip the switch and make it a nice place).
