I was in my youngest and took my girls to the thinkery. After leaving we were starving and wanted to go somewhere in walking distance. Blue Lacy was one of the closest things & they serve breakfast food all day (if you have kids, you know how hard it can be to find kid friendly options) as well as a lunch/dinner menu with burgers, wraps, salads & a few other options. The service & food were both amazing! Definitely a hidden gem and if we ever come back to the area we will be dining here.

Great food, service, and style
This place is horrible. Kerbey lane quality with double the price and half the service. Got a lot of our order wrong, brought one person's order after the other had finished, never came to refill water, and didn't give us happy hour pricing and had to ask them to rerun the check.

The food here was decent. Not the best ever, but it was convenient since we were staying at the hotel. It was also pretty overpriced. The service, however, was awesome! We had a big group and the waitress was patient, kind, and got our food out quickly.

We should have realized how bad this place would be based on no one being in the restaurant while every other place was busy. A few of the fails we experienced were:waiter brought us a little glass of water NEVER asked us of we'd like something besides water. Ordered a steak Med. Because they were out of chicken after we ordered je came back to tell us this. Steak came out raw. Sent back and ask to take off the bill. Bacon wrap wad all lettuce with on peice of chopped up bacon. Onion rings were a fried mass of grease. Had to find the waiter to ask for more water. Went to pay cash and he tried to refuse it for a card. I wasn't paying with a card. Bad service bad cook. Bad all around.

Disappointed is an understatement.
I went in with our party of 5 (4 adults 1 kid)
10-15 minutes passed by after we sat down for someone to bring us water and menus. The waiter was very hard to understand and seemed like he couldn’t even form a full sentence in English. When we finally ordered our food we got the lime seared chicken and 2 wraps after another 10 minutes after putting in our order the waiter came back and told us they didn’t have chicken, we then ordered the steak and frites medium rare. Our food came out separately for some reason? My in laws got their wraps way before we got our steak, they were practically done eating before we even got our steak. By the time we got our steak we were starving only to find out our Steak was RAW.

Horrible management, horrible service, cheap frozen food , not up to par cocktails , dive bar cocktails with up scale price , bartenders and servers do not know craft cocktails , management is running around with their heads cut off , cooks do not know how to cook basic breakfast for such an upscale price . Not worth it

Terrible experience. We went for Sunday brunch specifically for their advertised “Sunday drink deals,” only to be met with rationing, condescension, and microaggressions from both the bartender and our server.
For context: we were a calm, respectful group enjoying brunch and responsibly taking advantage of their advertised deals. Over the course of our visit, we had approximately three rounds of well shots and mimosas—standard for a brunch setting. Yet, we were treated as though we were out of control, which was not the case.
The staff charged us for drinks they never delivered, claiming they were “pacing” us. Pacing is not their responsibility unless we are disruptive, which we were not. The bartender even justified this by saying, “We will be held liable for what happens outside of here.” This is nonsensical and shows a lack of understanding of basic service standards. None of us are minors; we are all adults capable of managing our consumption.
Although we eventually got food, nearly half the menu was unavailable—no pancakes, waffles, burgers, or sandwiches. How do you run a brunch service without staples like these? To make matters worse, what little they did have took an eternity to arrive.
It’s clear this place is poorly managed. If you can’t even handle basic operations like maintaining your menu or timely service, what qualifies you to dictate how customers manage their consumption? Focus on getting your own house in order before overstepping with unnecessary restrictions.
This is the only place I’ve experienced that denies paying customers service without cause, undermining the very deals they use to attract patrons. It’s both embarrassing and unprofessional. If liability concerns outweigh the ability to provide proper service, perhaps offering drink deals isn’t the right fit for their establishment. We won’t be returning.

My family lives in Mueller and my daughter LOVES going to Blue Lacey. Everyone who works there is outstanding, and Sonya is a new chef who is both personable and a superb chef who the whole family enjoys :)
We had an incredible dining experience that deserves high praise. The steak and frites were absolutely phenomenal – the flavors transported me back to my favorite memories of France. It was easily the best I’ve ever had. My in-law opted for the Gouda burger and couldn’t stop raving about it, calling it the best burger he’s ever tried.
A special shoutout to Sonya, the chef, and Jim, whose attentiveness and professionalism truly elevated our evening. Their dedication and passion for their craft made our visit unforgettable.
If you’re looking for outstanding food paired with exceptional service, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place for breakfast or lunch. My crew and I were working next door and needed a quick meal. Blue Lacy hit the spot and the staff was very helpful. Fully recommend them if you're in the area.
