Always a great meal provided via terrific hospitality. Jay and Reed in the bar are masters of their trade!
Too loud when we arrived however the place was full of guests. It became much better once the crowd of people left. Very neat and clean and the staff was excellent. The waiter was absolutely on top of it, one of the best I have ever experienced. His name is "Andrew". We are from out of town visiting our son and it made for a terrific experience. The seasoning was a bit much but not enough to report at the time . The wine list was very good and broad, I appreciated the inclusion of some international options.... My family recommends this restaurant as a fine dining experience. And again "Andrew" made it so enjoyable!..... OPS
the food here is really good. Our favorites were the beef carpaccio and blue cheese salad. The steaks were all good, too. Our server was attentive. The setting is basic but it didn't matter to us.
Our first time eating at Bob's steak and chop house was fantastic. The food, service and ambience were top notch. We had the prime filet and the tomahawk pork chop which was cooked to perfection. In addition, we had lamb dollops for an appetizer. The service was outstanding. I highly recommend visiting Bob's for a truly wonderful night out.
We have been to this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed our meals. This time, unfortunately we weee disappointed . Our waitress explained the red fish as Van blackened over some lobster risotto. When we received it, it was redfish over a sweet potato.puree, which was very disappointing. I asked her about it. She never apologized. They also served my husband steak over the same sweet potato purée which awful. The service was awful and the food wasn't as good as it usually is. This was a special occasion or us, and it was just ruined.. Respectfully, Mrs. Calabro
From the moment we walked into Bob's Prime Steakhouse, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between classic elegance and warm, welcoming comfort. Soft lighting, polished wood finishes, and attentive staff set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. Let's talk steak — because wow. I ordered the steak feature, and it was hands-down one of the best cuts I've ever had. Perfectly seared, incredibly tender, and seasoned with a simplicity that let the quality of the meat shine. My partner had the lobster, which practically melted with each bite. The sides were just as impressive — and the signature glazed carrot (a fun Bob's twist!) was a standout. Jay & the bar team were our host, and they were knowledgeable, friendly, and anticipated our every need without ever hovering. We never felt rushed, and every recommendation — from the scallop appetizers, wine pairing to the decadent key lime pie for dessert — was spot on. Bob's Prime Steakhouse doesn't just serve incredible food; it delivers a complete dining experience. Whether you're celebrating something special or just treating yourself to a top-tier meal, this place should be at the top of your list. Can't wait to return!
Food was amazing, the staff was incredible and the restaurant had perfect ambiance. 10/10 would recommend and cannot wait to go back
By far the best bone in ribeye I've ever had food was top tier. Service to match. Only complaint is a very loud atmosphere. Probably not a problem for most people. I'm a bit heard of hearing
Excellent service and diverse menu for a steak house. A great choice for a special occasion.
I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. As guests of the Omni Barton Creek, we had access to a back entrance, but I was surprised to see the entryway cluttered with boxes and chairs, which didn't create the best first impression. Our waiter was wonderful—personable and friendly—and he did an excellent job of informing us about the off-menu items. Now, onto the food. We started with the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, which were delicious but quite heavy. In retrospect, we probably shouldn't have ordered them, as they filled us up and made it hard to enjoy the rest of our meal. For the main course, my wife chose the seabass with risotto and asparagus. Initially, we hesitated because the waiter assured us the risotto was light, but I can confidently say it was quite rich. Unfortunately, my wife couldn't eat much of it, and for $70, it felt like a waste. On the other hand, my New York strip was fantastic—generous portions that I couldn't finish. The glazed carrot was impressive, large, and very tasty. However, the baked potato was similar to what you'd find at Outback Steakhouse, but not quite as substantial. Overall, the experience was decent, but I probably wouldn't return. Since we were celebrating our 32nd anniversary at the hotel, it was convenient to dine here. I'd rate it a solid 4 out of 5, but with some room for improvement.

Pretty loud upbeat atmosphere for this type of setting. Potatoes absolutely perfect. Would come back
Food served lukewarm. Butter I put on steak would not melt. Service was professional but slow.
Truly a great experience we were treated like royalty for our anniversary

First, I have to recognize our server Hunter. He was outstanding and made our meal even more amazing. His recommendations were spot on and his enthusiasm was so appreciated. Our meals were both perfection. The lobster tail and the ribeye entrees were cooked and seasoned to perfection along with the sides. We will be back!

Bar closes at 10pm on Saturday so even after spending $1000 you can't get a drink. Manager surly and doesn't care. Bobs used to be a good dinner option but it's become “ too corporate”...no focus on real individual personal service, only dishing out corporate type service and high prices for standard steak house fare. I received a call from Chris, the GM, after posting my negative comments. He couldn't have been more understanding and said the last thing Bob's wants is to be perceived as corporate, that they are seeking to provide a friendly, collegial and neighborhood feel. I'm giving them another opportunity as I've always enjoyed my experiences there in the past.
