My wife and I decided to try a Brazilian food spot in Austin (She’s from São Paulo), and we are so glad we found Boteco! The food was absolutely amazing—authentic, flavorful, and truly a taste of Brazil’s best comfort food.

We arrived on a chilly day, and the owner went above and beyond with his customer service. He was incredibly polite, enthusiastic, and even told us to wait in our car while he brought the food out to us—talk about hospitality!

This used to be my favorite place, as a Brazilian. The feijoada and picanha were unmatched. As a loyal customer, visiting almost once a week, I must admit that my recent orders haven’t been as good or of the same quality as they used to be. Ever since there were changes in the staff and the menu, the difference has been noticeable. They removed the feijoada, which was my favorite dish, and the last picanha dish I ordered had beans that were bland and tasteless—something that...
