This place is legit. Always has been. I’ll put their brisket up with any Instagram place in town. Bbq quality everywhere always fluctuates somewhat based on all the variables, but Whole Foods bbq is solid always. Sometimes it’s amazing. Much better than 3.5 stars on Google.

Located toward the back of the huge Whole Foods Market. Got the Brisket and spicy kielbasa. Both were a bit overpriced and the quality was just ok. The brisket was a little on the dry side, so we were glad to have barbecue sauce. Since it is a kiosk in the Whole Foods Market I didn't have high expectations.

The restaurant is awesome and broad, the meals was delicious and the rates were very affordable. quick, efficient service and very friendly staff members. I highly recommend this place.
Delicious BBQBetter tasting than the more famous Austin joints.Since it's Whole Foods, the meat is ultra high quality - no hormones or antibiotics, etc, and you can get a beer with the food.
Whole Foods BBQ is consistently outstanding. Perhaps not as good as Franklin's, La BBQ, Styles Switch, Coopers, etc.; however, the consistency is amazing. It doesn't seem right that Whole Foods should have some of the best BBQ in town, but it does. It's kind of like BMW pumping exhaust tones through their speakers - you don't want to like it but you do. Brisket, beef and pork ribs, pulled pork, sausage...all of it is good. The best part is the people though - they are some of the friendliest folks in town. They all have an inspiring passion for their job.
11:30 on Saturday they have one guy working the line. Sloooooooooow. Really poor decision on staffing. More than twelve people waiting in line! Sad!
OK it's better than most Austin BBQ places like the other review said I will admit. But 13 dollars for a brisket plate and two sides? In West Texas that's a $7 plate. Everything in Austin is overpriced, you guys are getting ripped off! Warning: taste the BBQ sauce before you commit. The pic I'm posting had two lemonade for $33... Holy...
So damn good!
Order the brisket. Really flavorful. I had the pork ribs two, when they had meat on them, it was really well seasoned from the dry rub.
