For our 101st 'cue stop in Texas, we stopped by this food truck on a Saturday morning. It was not at all busy, in sharp contrast to several of the other outlets in the court. We laid out $43.40 to purchase 2 biscuits with brisket and smoked strawberry jam. We added hash browns to each order ( 2 wedges per order). Although the biscuit was quite dry, the brisket was well prepared, and the smoked strawberry jam a real treat. But no plastic utensils were supplied, so we ended up scooping the jam up with our fingers. Bring your own utensils with you if you choose to visit! We're glad we came, but the price point struck us as very, very high for what we received-- too high for our wallets to absorb a second time.

Delicious briskets and biscuits. Biscuits were a little dry but overall the sandwich was great! The arugula salad and pimento cheese grits were also tasty!

Didn’t realize this is a food truck. It has a cute dining area and a coffee shop with a bathroom. You can order ahead online but I got my order quickly after ordering once I got there.

Shared a two meat platter with my guy. Got brisket and pork belly and a side of pimento grits. The brisket was solid. Try the pork belly with a little of their grape jelly!! Lastly, I do not even bother with grits but my partner wanted them. They were out of this world good. The best thing I ate during my weekend in Austin.

Lost my mind how good the food is. Pricing is high and diminishes value. It’s hard to justify other than on occasion. Try it at least once and you’ll try and justify the price for more.

It was the first time I’ve had beef bacon and it was tasty. By itself, it’s great. I wouldn’t recommend it in between a biscuit, though. You can’t get a good bite through the meat because it’s tough and you’ll end up crumbling the biscuit. Tender meats and softer items are the go to, imo.

A friend and I arrived close to closing time so they were out of a few items. Instead of getting the brisket, we got pork belly ? and jelly. I love a sweet and savory combination and of course this was perfect. The pork was so tender and the biscuits were warm, golden brown on the outside and while they were soft the biscuits didn’t fall apart. A must try if you’re in the Austin area and the customer service was phenomenal.

Food is consistent, well seasoned, & delicious.
PBLT is my go-to splurge! Biscuit sticks and gravy are a must. Burnt ends are so GOOD.
It is a little expensive but not overpriced. Happy to support a place doing things thoughtfully, consistently & that delivers!
