Been eating there for almost three years. But recently I was given slices that should have thrown out , but instead served me a dried out slice that could barely tear a bite off of. After calling their company, I was told I would receive a call back, but that never happened. Those store manager INSISTED that their pizza was "always fresh" obviously that's not true !!

Door Dashed some pizza and the fried raviolis. The wife & i were pleasantly surprised. The crust ,sauce & ingredients were excellent. The raviolis were excellent as well. Definitely will be going to your location to try it fresh out the oven!

TLDR: If your order subtotals over $100, they'll charge an 18% nonnegotiable gratuity.
On September 8th at 4 PM, I called in and ordered four large pizzas for a party, which has a subtotal of $120.75, for take out (see the receipt). The person who answered the phone repeated my order and told me to see them in 30 minutes. I notified the person at the register of my order and he handed the four boxes of pizza over to me. After I handed my credit card to him to pay, he said "Oh by the way, any order over $100 comes with an 18% gratuity."
What am I supposed to do at this point??? My guests are expecting dinner, but I don't have an alternative anymore since this wasn't communicated over the phone when I had a opportunity to make a different decision. I'm not against restaurant employees earning tips or a livable wage, but to not communicate that until AFTER I've handed my money over is unreasonable and unprofessional.
The pizza was solid with tasty toppings and the crust was good. But this action was so unreasonable that despite wanting to support small businesses in my own neighborhood I can no longer do that after this unfortunate incident.
I recommend that the owners train their employees consistently and hold them accountable. It's unfortunate as I host groups of 15+ people at least 30 times a year and will not be incorporating Brooklyn Pie into my rotation of restaurants.

I really like this place, for a while there I was ordering pretty much every weekend. I usually will get a 14" pie with sausage or pepperoni, or just plain, plus an order of wings. It is hard to find good pizza in the south in general, and this place delivers as far as sauce flavor, cheese distribution, and crust chewiness, if you are from the east coast. The problem I have is that they raised the price of a 14" pie from 14.50 to 19.00 since the last time I ordered. I get it, they're a business, they need to make money, but this was a big jump. I ended up ordering from somewhere else because of this. Disappointed.
