Buddy's Mexican Grill

First and last time ordering at the grille. Yes it's inside a gas station and it seems the staff aren't to concerned about what they serve you. Ordered 2 Picadillo tacos and received mixed in raw meat! I was lucky to get 1 taco out of both. Shame on you for serving me that! You know who you are, didnt provide service with a smile.
I can guarantee I won't go back there!

This store is located inside a gas station. I ordered 2 breakfast tacos. One potato and egg and one barbacoa. The potato is still raw and not cooked properly. They had flies swarming the food. So disgusting. I'll never order food from here again! The barbacoa was so dam greasy, it seeped through the bag!

We drove all the way from Leander to try Buddy’s and see what the buzz was about. Right off the bat we had a great experience with the GM who welcomed us as first-timers and gave us samples of the fries (two kinds), their hand-made lemonades (two kinds), and their special sauce to dip the fries (also on their burgers).The food did not disappoint! We got the regular double cheeseburger and the spicy double. The meat was super flavorful, juicy and fresh. This is not your typical fast-food burger. The balance between the double meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions is perfect.Give it a try if you’re in the area!

This place is ehhh. Wish I could’ve given more stars but it’s just disappointing. I’ve gone twice now. Last time the customer service was VERY poor and the food was just okay, not bad, but there are better tacos around. Tried it again today and the customer service was way better but I ordered the pastor tacos and they are nothing like traditional pastor tacos. It’s so weird, it tastes like chorizo. Edible but not great. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu besides the tacos so maybe go for something else…

I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS PLACE IT'S SOMETHING EXTREMELY SERIOUS I HAD BEEN GOING FOR FOOD BUT FROM A TIME TO HERE IT'S A VERY DRASTIC CHANGE
THE SERVICE AND THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD NOW LEAVES A LOT TO DESIRE FIRST I THINK MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE I'M LOOKING AT NEW STAFF AND UNFORTUNATELY IT'S NOT THE SAME AS IT WAS LONG BACK. THE ATTENTION IS VERY RUDE AND VERY RACEFUL. VERY BAD. I WAS ATTENDED BY A WOMAN WHO SEEMED TO BE MAYBE THE MANAGER WHO APPEARED TO BE IN A BAD MOOD. A BROWN WOMAN BY THE WAY LOOKED RACIST WHY I ORDERED IN SPANISH. HA HA. THEN I ORDERED SOME MIXED TACOS WHICH THE MEAT WAS VERY RED AS IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS LACK OF COOKING. THE BARBECUE IS NO LONGER LIKE BEFORE, ITS FOOD NO LONGER TASTES THE SAME. THE STAFF DOES NOT USE GLOVES BADLY

Cool little spot, decent food

I will not be returning. This place was good at first but now I’m starting to get food poisoning. I went over the weekend for breakfast and ordered 2 tacos . The tacos was very greasy and the meat looked different then the usual. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they changed they menu or something. I paid 10.72 for two tacos and the prices change all the time . I ate them and immediately I started feeling sick and my stomach was turning, I had diarrhea etc. I had to go to the doctor and take time off work for there negligence. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I’m sure the produce is not being handled correctly, .

10/12/2022 / I came here to get a fountain drink only and the lady put a metal object in my drink . When I pulled up to window she was complaining about not being able to reach my car to hand a drink to me, so I reached out to get the drink, I said thank you and she said have a good day . When I went home I drunk half of it and decided to poor the rest out, that was god !! As I poor my drink there goes this object, hard metal at the bottom of my drink !!! It has weight and I will be putting a picture up !! This is the kind of employees this company hires, I will be taking full action against this employee for dropping this in my drink . I thought I could get a drink in a rush to get to a destination but no you can’t get food or drink here, this place isn’t going to be here long !!

Delicious, period, hands down. Only tacos or bowls available and completely worth it. If short staffed drive thru is not open. Just plan to order inside and you can eat there

First time trying this place. I ordered 2 barbacoa tacos and the person who took my order at the drive through immediately said “Okay pull forward.” She assumed that I was finished ordering, but I didn’t indicate that I was. Since it was my first time there, I wanted to try their sides or something else, but that was off putting. I pulled up and she was polite but rushing, even though there were not any customers inside that I could see nor anyone behind me. I noticed the soda machine had several Out of Order post its. The barbacoa tacos were mushy/soggy, and on the verge of being greasy. The meat tasted a notch below the prepackaged ones HEB sells in the meat department. At home I had to add salt, lime, cilantro, onions, and Valentina to help it have some type of flavor. I don’t think I’ll return. This Buddy’s chain :/ 0 for 2!
