We drove all the way from Leander to try Buddy’s and see what the buzz was about. Right off the bat we had a great experience with the GM who welcomed us as first-timers and gave us samples of the fries (two kinds), their hand-made lemonades (two kinds), and their special sauce to dip the fries (also on their burgers).The food did not disappoint! This place is ehhh. Wish I could’ve given more stars but it’s just disappointing. I’ve gone twice now. Last time the customer service was VERY poor and the food was just okay, not bad, but there are better tacos around. Tried it again today and the customer service was way better but I ordered the pastor tacos and they are nothing like traditional pastor tacos. It’s so weird, it tastes like chorizo. Edible but not great. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu besides...
