First impression Buffet King is nice and clean for an affordable buffet. We were there early and the food all looked hot and fresh. The sushi was good. Especially the salmon. Everything I tried was pretty good for an affordable buffet. It is definitely worth a try.

I really like it hear it's not to crowded and the food is well rotated
I've been a huge fan of Max and his crew at Buffet King since their grand opening, 15 years ago. The food is always fresh, the restaurant (including restrooms) are clean, and the service is friendly. I've tried most of the Chinese buffets in Austin and nowhere comes close. Over the years, we have had countless gatherings and parties here--it's an excellent venue and is centrally located in Austin. Although we no longer live in Austin, we always make a point of stopping here for a meal when we're in the area.

VERY EXPENSIVE. HORRIBLE COLD FOOD. I WAS THERE FOR AT LEAST 45 MINUTES WITH FRIENDS AND DID NOT SEE THEM PUT OUT ONE SINGLE NEW ITEM.. WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS

If I could give zero stars I would. They are racist and the manager was very mean. They brought out the tab while we were up getting our second plate and they thought we had left so they were gonna call the cops on us. We asked about the issue and they said they don’t understand English. We paid our tab and left but the manager lady gave me a dirty look while leaving. This is such a sad experience I will never go back
