First impression Buffet King is nice and clean for an affordable buffet. We were there early and the food all looked hot and fresh. The sushi was good. Especially the salmon. Everything I tried was pretty good for an affordable buffet. It is definitely worth a try.

The Mongolian grill is part of the buffet so you can let yourself create a delicious dish which they cook fresh for you. The buffet dishes are the tasty options you associate with a buffet and they are constantly cooking it fresh.

I've been a huge fan of Max and his crew at Buffet King since their grand opening, 15 years ago. The food is always fresh, the restaurant (including restrooms) are clean, and the service is friendly. I've tried most of the Chinese buffets in Austin and nowhere comes close. Over the years, we have had countless gatherings and parties here--it's an excellent venue and is centrally located in Austin. Although we no longer live in Austin, we always make a point of stopping...
