Six of us were eating so we had a multiple variety of foods to try. Everything we ordered was delicious from the appetizers to dessert. The cocktails were awesome. The duck carnitas were exceptional. We also had multiple entrees of chicken, steak and halibut with charred green beans and grilled corn with queso fresco. I am unable to pick a favorite as it was all so good. The chocolate cake was incredible. I truly appreciate the kitchen being totally gluten-free. We will be returning.
My favorite restaurant in Austin right now. Steaks are the best and the view and ambiance is unbeatable
We had a great time and great dinning experience Grant Scott was very helpful with our menu selection. Dessert was incredible
Our server -Anthony - was fantastic. We loved the blood orange mezcal cocktails and all our dishes were delicious. Love the corn dish.
I have eaten here twice. Every dish I and my guests have ordered has been perfection. I look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu.
Some of the sweetest bartending staff I have ever met. Quick and efficient even at their busiest hour. Celebrated our anniversary here and received a thoughtful card and treat. Second time i've been here just this year and it's still January; plan on going back many more times. Food was delicious as always. Highly recommend the hamachi! Thank you!!
Interior was a little loud, but the food and cocktails were outstanding. We sat at the bar, which was a wonderful vibe. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Will absolutely be going back
Great overall. However, I selected an indoor table but they seated us in an “enclosed” outdoor pavilion. There were heaters on the ceiling but it made a difference in experience. Especially since it was not what I had reserved or expected.
Phenomenal experience for the first time! That Mexican corn and carne asada was life. Everything was a 10!
I made a reservation on Open Table for dinner. The night before, someone called and asked if I could switch my reservation from a standard table to a bar table. I said yes, but it really bothered me. I don't understand why my reservation was less important than whomever I was bumped for. Then when we arrived the next evening, the hostess greeted us, and we mentioned we had a reservation. She said it was a bar reservation and then told us to just sit anywhere we would like, and then she walked away. That really upset me because I had a reservation and was told I would have a bar table reserved for me. Then another hostess came up to ask if we needed help, and I told her that we had a reservation and that the other hostess told us to just sit anywhere, and she kind of snapped at me that she was about to show me where our seats were at the end of the bar. So I will say that I am NOT a fan of your hostesses! The bartender was charming and nice, (sorry that I can't remember his name) and I started to relax and enjoy our experience. The drinks were okay... not what I usually order for cocktails, but it was fun to try something new. We ordered the crudo; crab tostadas.... let me tell you that they were excellent! I would go back just for them. I also ordered the short rib and risotto, but wasn't able to eat the risotto at all because they put way too much chili oil on the plate.... it covered everything and overpowered it. The short ribs had great flavor though. I think it would have been wonderful if they had just drizzled some of the oil on plate instead of drowning it.

Super good food. We had an awesome waiter and he was very attentive. Comfortable chairs and booths.
The only reason I'm rating the food 4 stars is because they had forgotten the broccolini (which is fine; that happens) so they rushed to cook it. When it came out, it was a bit undercooked. Flavor, though, was really good.
We visited to celebrate our anniversary after hearing so many great things about the food and views and quickly realized why it’s so highly recommended! The smell of the wood fire hits you as soon as you walk up, setting the tone and really getting you excited for the entire experience you're about have. The space is beautiful, and the patio offers incredible views! Plus the patio has coverage and heaters, so no biggie if it rains!
The hostess greeted us right away, and Mariah, our server, was attentive and truly thoughtful throughout the night with great recommendations and surprises.
The food was outstanding! Honestly, probably some of THE BEST we've enjoyed in Austin! The happy hour machete was MASSIVE, perfectly crispy and cheesy with an addicting side crema that I saved to use in case I wanted to pair with other food items, it was that good.
I'm typically not a huge mole person so I was hesitant on ordering anything with it, but heard they were known for their 800 day aged mole. I asked if it was possibly to try a small amount to see if that would be something we'd enjoy and she brought out a sample to try and WOW! They do a savory style mole and it is JAW DROPPING! Creamy, luscious and definitely worth ordering! This is coming from someone who is not a mole person, well at least the sweet kind of mole. Now I know theres a better one out there!
While I couldn't get over how incredible the mole was, we were dying to try their carne asada and the venison chops that they had on the menu, especially since you don't see venison often. The carne asada was well cooked and flavorful and came with a super cheesy chile relleno. but the venison double chops completely stole the show—exceptional tenderness, flavor, and execution.
Their margaritas were excellent, especially the fact that you could make them spicy with their house-made pepper mix, where you can really taste the fresh jalapeños. They surprised us with a champagne toast and anniversary sweets (Fresh feeling strawberry ice cream and shortbread buttery confetti type cookies) that made the night feel extra special. We did follow that with a chocolate cake, that didn't feel like it would put you in a sugar coma and had a cherry guajillo puree that gave it a little spiced kick.
Absolutely worth the drive and already on our list to return—especially for brunch and one of their mole dishes! They are a must stop in Austin!

If you don't like this place then you're probably a fairly miserable person.
It's not cheap but the steaks are the best in town. Shareable, large sizes, great food, excellent atmosphere.

Amazing food. The most tender steak I’ve had in a very long time. Such flavorful dishes and great mocktail options. I have never had a bad experience. Recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.
