I feel like it should be known that this is not the same quality as the one on Congress. The price is higher for smaller quantity and quality, and burger of the month was ok but no comparison to the JW burger bar. The fries were mid which was a shame because they offer cheese fries where as the other has some of the best fries I've had in downtown. The staff was friendly, but I just wish it was the same food across the board at both locations.

Ordered online and picked up while staying at The Otis. Ordering online was quick and easy. Pick up was smooth and the burgers were amazing! Grabbed a shake as well and was very pleased with that decision!

Disclaimer: I only get their veggie freak burger which I really, really enjoy. I went back 3 times in a week to get it. Ingredients were fresh. Fries are better than expected too. The prices are actually reasonable. Can’t speak on the actual meat burgers tho.

Good FAST burger joint for LUNCH HOUR….the double cheeseburger is after eating one day excellent on the digestive system and not a greasey hangover. Well done. Not sure how that was accomplished. Be prepared to spend a little more than usual for this FAST service. The fries come separately (financially), and offering bottled water for a price. Num num num. During SUMMER and WEEKDAY and AFTER 4PM.

Best chicken tenders around. Guy that has helped me everytime is super cool, great service.
It's in a loud spot right by the road, so be prepared for that.

My experience at Burger Bar still sticks with me years later. As a student at the time, I was hoping to find a local spot I could become a regular at. I would walk round the area and would pass by this corner burger joint - genuinely excited to try their food.
When I arrived one night, I patiently waited for someone to greet me. I said “hi” to acknowledge the staff, only to be immediately cut off with, “Don’t speak over me, we are working on someone’s order.” There was only one other person there, and the person that spoke to me was not preparing the food. I was shocked by the tone and response. Still, I stayed, thinking maybe it was just a misunderstanding, because I really wanted to try the food.
I ordered, waited patiently, and when my food was ready, I thanked them. As I walked away, I overheard them talking about me - loudly. It was incredibly disheartening and left me feeling hurt.
The chicken tenders, fries, and shake of the day were actually really good — but the service and how I was treated made it impossible to come back. No one deserves to feel unwelcome or ridiculed for wanting to try something new.
