The food itself was quite good. The wait time is a bit long but it’s nice that they send you a test when your order is ready to pick up. Prices are decent, I think it’s worth trying if you’ve never had Nashville Hot Chicken. It would be better if they added more tables outside since there were only 2 when I visited.

Instant favorite! The flavors, the portions and the service were perfect. You won't come here for the ambiance, though. There's limited seating outside. The lot itself looks a bit rundown. The food, however, was amazing. We ordered the double buns, and a bussin combo. The chicken was well marinated, with a perfect amount of spices and seasoning with a generous portion of fries and sauce. Their menu has halal chicken.

#3 combo in photo. I pulled into the Popeye's parking lot literally next door. (You really can't go wrong with Popeye's.) But saw a bit of a line at the Bussin Buns food truck, which lured me over.Best. Peer. Pressure. Ever.Melt-in-your-mouth heaven. I could go on and on, duplicating the amazing descriptions in other reviews here, so instead I'll just say -- your tastebuds will not be disappointed.I will add, however, I found the "hot" level of sauce to be effective without overwhelming. While I noticed too late this time, the hot honey add-on, I said I won't make that same rookie mistake twice.

This is really HOT! I visited a few days ago, and my tongue is still burning. I had to stop four times to get ice cream before returning home. I thought the food would be milder, but I was mistaken; it felt more like I needed to visit the emergency room. I've been to other places, like Main Bird and Dave's Hot Chicken, and those places had better chicken that wasn't raw like bussin buns. If you decide to visit, I suggest packing milk.

First time trying Bussin buns and by far the best hot chicken I've tried in Austin so far. I had the bussin fries, and they were so damn good. Definitely worth the drive from Kyle and will definitely be coming back for more. Did not disappoint.

The chicken shines here. The chicken is always tender and juicy. The batter is not very crunchy which is unfortunate but it is very flavorful. The bussin fries are the best thing on the menu IMO.

Food is really great. The spices on the chicken, the sauce and fries are good. Service is what is lacking. They say 20 minutes until ready and never have I gotten my food within 20 minutes. Last time I waited an hour bc they ran out of propane, didn't inform the customers, & kept taking orders. Please manage the food truck
This place is extremely regular!!! I spent 44 dollars. It was not worth it. You can actually just go to canes. Canes is actually better!! I was very disappointed. The staff seemed like they had no attentiveness. they took 30 whole minutes!! Canes would have had it done in 10 minutes. Honestly save your time & money & go to canes.

SO unbelievably fantastic I am jaw-dropped. Just moved semi down the street and oh MY GOODNESS! So excited. Yes. Yes!!! Btw not only is the food amazing, the service was so kind! Great and comfortable spot as well. Thanks for the good food.

the food was lowkey disappointing. the chicken itself was decent, covered in spicy but slightly sweet powder instead "actually spicy". the hotdog bun was good too, the bread was kinda hard, the fries was pretty bland, and the sauce was just not it:(

OVERALL: 3.5/5 My bf and I have been wanting to try this place after seeing so much rave about it. We ordered the tender plate level Hot with a side of ranch. After we ordered, we had to wait about 35-40 minutes for our food to be ready which was fine. (I would say order ahead if it's more convenient for you!!) The guy taking our order was cool and helpful with answering our questions. We inspected our food and realized they missed both our side of ranch and the side bussin sauce that was already included with the plate. Good thing we hadn't left the lot so we were able to snag those (after waiting in line again). FOOD: I was disappointed that the fries were not fresh after waiting so long. The tenders did seem freshly cooked. The hot spice level definitely had a kick but I wouldn't say it was overly spicy (I have a high spice tolerance fyi). Bussin Sauce was good! This place is Halal!
