God bless Cabo Bob’s! One of the few places in Austin still making affordable food. And the employees work so damn hard. It can get really busy in here especially after 7 PM so plan accordingly, and be ready to wait in a loud and crowded restaurant full of drunk UT students. And be sure to tip the staff!

Wow, this place is so good. I was kind of reluctant to get in when I saw how it works over there that you need to queue for the counter service, and then you go between the stops that in each of them you decide what should go inside your dish. The kind of tortilla, the sauces of that, is kind of a lot of pressure for me if I am new here, and I need to decide on the spot what should get in my plate. All that being said, I think the food here is out of this world. The tortillas are amazing. I had a fish burrito, which was just incredible. The sauces are spicy and fun. The rice is actually fresh and very flavorful. Everything here is really great. It’s a local institution and rightfully so, go here. It’s affordable, and it’s fun.

Delicious food and big portions! I got the kids size and it’s still a decent size burrito. I got the beef brisket with a bunch of toppings and it’s really good. The chips are also a great touch. It’s super affordable too. Much better local option compared to chipotle or something like that, as someone who had to put up with a lot of salad bowl places in NYC.
