We went to Torchy's for lunch. Torchy's is a chain of restaurants in and around the Austin area. This one is near an H E B at the site of the old Robert Mueller airport and a number of businesses. We walked in the door and took a menu then proceeded through the line. Where we placed our order. We asked for their queso and chips, fried avocado in a bowl, the Democrat, a chicken fajita, and a tuna taco. Our order was then brought to our table. The food was good. There...
What can I tell you that isn't obvious. You can grab a good tasting and convenient meal before/after shopping ath HEB. Plenty of choices and reasonably fast service based on the time of day. Always a tempting option
More like 4.5 stars if I'm honest -- I've been here four times. Each time, the food has been very good and the service was friendly. The most recent time, they accidentally delivered me someone else's order, but I noticed right away and it was fixed immediately. This place is great to get you fueled up for your shopping.
