Stopped into the cafe after visiting a local park to take skyline photos. The two ladies at the counter were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. I had to step away for a moment while my order was being prepared. They graciously agreed to watch my coffee and began coffee cake until I returned.
The coffee was hot and smooth. The coffee cake was scrumptious and hit the spot as an afternoon snack.
If you are in the neighborhood stop by and grab a cup and a snack!

Tasteful, modern atmosphere (if a sterile). Quality coffee for sure. Service was disinterested and maybe even a touch condescending.

I come here four times a week and am met with happy smiling faces every time! Especially Jules, Mars and Maddie and another brunette ?! They are all so efficient and just sweet humans! Even when they have a line out the door they still take the time to be personal, remembering humans or dogs name and or their orders. I’ve seen them work alone and bust out orders and still clean the whole place after a rush! And being next to the trail that place gets busy but they just continue to consistently be happy and turn out my favorite cappuccino! So glad this place exists as Starbucks is the next closest and no thank you! Oh and I love their fresh baked goods!! Right now the Cesar salad is also my fave. Always fresh!!

Need to put up a sign for where the glass water cups belong after using them. If you bring it back to the counter the rude blonde barista will scold you to put it “where it actually belongs”, which is hidden under the counter around the corner. It is a shame the great hotel service is not translated into the coffee shop attached.

While sitting enjoying drinks, observed staff being rude to customers for really no rightful purpose. Maybe it was just a bad day for staff, but still customer service needs work.

Fantastic experience. Everything we ordered was incredible, especially the calamari starter. Service and drinks both impeccable. ambiance pristine. I recommend the bar lounge for the view of the city! They also have a great mission here at the Loren.

Amazing experience at Nido! As always, it's a beautiful spot for sunset with pink skies and a great view of Austin. Drinks were on point. Service was exceptional. Our waiter Trenton went above and beyond. We asked for a picture and he took us to the best spot for one, he saw us struggling with the lamp and immediately came over to help us, filled our waters, checked in, just so attentive and kind. Thank you Trenton!

Staff is very nice and good and drinks are consistently good. However, they gave our reservation to another party even though because they said we were 20 minutes late (we called and asked if we can come 20 minutes later and they said yes no problem). So the scheduling was a little screwy. Other than that this place is a definite go to place for us.

Was great service, atmosphere, and views. Food is slightly more expensive with small portion sizes but it's very good. Drinks are slightly expensive but also very good. We were satisfied with everything.

I came with my wife to celebrate her 66th birthday. I had notified the restaurant of this before. The unique value of this restaurant lies in its phenomenal view of downtown Austin. If you can arrive in time for dusk, you will see the transition from day to the lit up urban landscape at night. Our waiter was very attentive. The menu was not overbearing with too many options. The portion sizes were just right. The food and presentation were good, however not exceptional and a bit underwhelming and a bit too pricey. The wine by the glass was definitely too pricey. There was no 'extra touch' provided for my wife for her birthday, unlike any other 3,4 or 5 star restaurant that we have gone to. That was disappointing. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience that left us a bit disappointed.

Nido is yet to disappoint me! Great staff, lovely views, good wine & cocktail selection! Ideal spot for HH or date night. Our wait staff, Holden was polite, attentive, and provided exceptional service. Already looking forward to my next visit ?

We were a party of 4 people and had dinner at Nido on Sunday night The service was decent - we sat outdoors at the table of our choice since the place was not very busy When we were ready to order - the server gave us no information about the dishes . We ended up ordering risotto , flat bread ,ravioli and when the food got there - we were surprised to see the portions . The portion size is smaller than a appetizer for a main course meal and prices are $$$- and the taste was just blahhhh My brother in law who was our guest commented later that frozen ravioli tastes better than what was served I wouldn't recommend the place for food but the views are great and so is the ambience

We went here to celebrate a birthday dinner. Lots of great shareable items on the menu. We were able to sit outside which works for a comfy, food sharing situation. If you are looking for more of a formal table, stay inside. But being on the patio with views of downtown Austin, was Awesome. Great food, great drinks and the Octopus was a hit.
