entering the restaurant we waited in line for the hostess to run around during everything around the restaurant to be seated for our reservation. We sat for our reservation 15-20 minutes late. Once seated we were brought water by the hostess and sat an additional 45 minutes before someone greeted our group. We then to try to immediately order our food because the restaurant seemed to be in disarray. We continued to wait an additional hour and fifteen minutes for our appetizers to come out mediocre at best as it seemed it sat for an extended amount of town. While we waited on our food we asked our waiter to bring us a drink menu that came 45 minutes later. We tried to order drinks but by the time we got our food and ate the drinks were still no where to be found. We finally caught our waiter and we were told the bar had a long line of drinks in front of ours. Another party in our group got up to walk to the bar themselves to check and see and the bar stated the drinks were never put in as they were not backed up. This was clear because other tables who came in without reservations after us had eaten, received drinks, paid and were gone while we were still just trying to receive everything we ordered. Once the rest of the parties main entrees finally came. One party noticed a hair across her salad dressing and salad. We notified the water and he seemed flustered by the this. We watch him walk it to the kitchen sit on the line and they switch the dressing and bring the same salad back to the table. We then instructed them to please replace the entire dish as the hair was across the food as well. The waiter seemed irritated by this proceeded to walk away as we watched him approach the manager who seemed even more annoyed by flailing his his hands around when the waiter was explaining what was going on and threw his hands up to have it redone. At this point two of the missing five drinks show up from the bar because they were not busy. The other three were cancelled because at this point what else could we do. It took 30 more minutes to pay and leave. This place was clearly understaffed, mismanaged and overwhelmed. As side from the clear health code violations this place needs to be shut down, staff trained and hopefully in the future can turn it around.

Did not eat even though we had a reservation. I was attending a conference at the convention center. Saturday afternoon and we we told there were a total of 4 employees working, one of which was the hostess. Never got checked in or seated. Please staff accordingly. A lot of business lost.

Party of two eclipsers on April 7, 2024, ordered identical Simply Grilled Filet; however, one was medium and the other medium well. Brought to table was a perfect medium tenderloin filet and a well done piece of beef of unknown cut. Waiter disappeared and did not return until we asked for the check. Since I could not eat even half of the well done order, the waiter offered to redo the meal 30-45 minutes after it was initially sat on the table. I am Black and was given the wrong order. My White friend was given the correct order. We had reservations and the place was nearly empty.

I had my birthday brunch there this morning with a party of 7. The food was amazing as always. Our server, David R. was absolutely the best server I've ever had dining out. He was attentive, polite and professional. Thank you, David, for providing an exemplary dining experience!

We went on a Friday night and the dining room was pretty empty yet the host/waiter sat us in the bar section. There was no bartender to be seen and after 20 minutes he came back to tell us the whiskey we picked they did not have. We selected another and 15 minutes later was told they were out of that too. Meanwhile we still had no food as he didn't take our order until 30 minutes in. Once we were told this we asked to cancel our food order and left.

We love Cafe Blue. The menu is amazing and we love the oysters! Very few people were in the restaurant when we brunched Sunday morning. We had oysters, the lobster asparagus omelet which amazing and the cuban benedict, also very good. Would highly recommend!

Food:7/5 Service:6/5 Atmosphere:5/5Some of the best food that I’ve had in my life. Order Wisely, the entrees take a while but they are so worth it. (I had a salad and good company to talk to while waiting.) Our server was very nice and attentive even while juggling like five different things. I got the trout almondine and everything on the plate paired wonderfully. (Toasted almonds go surprisingly well with trout, lemon, and garlic.) The summer salad was good (and sweet), if a bit heavy on the vinaigrette. The fries that my partner ordered were the best I have ever tasted. The (virgin) mojitos we ordered were also very good.

My first time coming here and the food was delicious! Milan was the sweetest! The person sitting next to me had the po boy and that also looked amazing. The manager Brandon came by to make sure everything came out ok. Attentive staff and everyone was nice. Can't wait to come back!

Went for breakfast when they opened at 9 am and we were only 1 of two tables in the place. The service was great, the food was excellent, and the portions were more than enough! Was so good we wanted to go back for supper!
