This is my favorite café in Austin. It is original Austin vibe with great prices. It does get incredibly busy during the lunch hour and on weekends, so plan accordingly. No reservations. You arrive and join the list.

It was wonderful here loved the food First time coming here and it was great loved there Breakfast Bagel and their Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte Billie Jo our Waitress the Guy doing the matcha sans the Coffee he was working it I mean a dang good job and William is awesome, so was Josh they are very helpful always asked if we needed anything made sure we were very much accommodating 10/10 Would recommend when your looking for a breakfast brunch spot.

Went on a late Friday morning and there was no wait for a table, but the place was very busy. The food was great and the servers very attentive. Great Atmosphere. This was our first trip to Austin, and we will be coming back next time we are here. 5 Stars.

Cafe Java is where I go when I want to eat something yummy in a cozy place with reliable down-home service. It's like my comfort blanket. This particular visit- shout out to Josh and Vicki for being so kind, efficient, and accommodating when my tastebuds were playing tricks on me for some weird reason. If you pop in, ask for them. Cafe Java's culture is awesome and the reliable service and food make it one of North Austin's restaurant staples.
