House roasted beans. Can’t get past the odd layout that does not flow. Confusing, bumbling, chaotic. Nice folks hanging out and baristas were lovely, just a horrible layout. Lots of shaded seating out back
Authentic Austin for sure but it's like a childcare facility in the morning, inadequate parking, loud, and mostly 2-top tables, flies.
We got the vanilla latte and the tropa matcha and the drinks were good. They’re not incredible, but they’re decent. The muffin was very good though. The service was excellent and they made sure we liked our drinks, plus they were very polite. The place is cute, and lots of dogs outside which was very nice. Overall, they were great, I just expected slightly more “wow” coffee! I would definitely give it a try if your nearby!

Cool vibe, good music, just forgot to make my coffee 🫢
Loved my cappuccino, great service and a lovely patio!
Sometimes the music is bothersome.
Ordered a large matcha and got a small one for the third time in a row visiting. Asked nicely and barista poured small matcha into a large cup and filled the rest with oat milk. After I said it tasted watered down was asked, “do you want me make you another one?” I was so annoyed I just left. The right answer and action would have been “let me make you another one right away.” Although their coffee drinks are excellent, the service and atmosphere is horrible.
Good coffee, but damn, yall gotta give at least a morsel of effort to make your back patio inviting. Just run down tables and chairs strewn about, trash everywhere spilling out of bins. Come on, it’s a big nice space to work with.
I stopped in at Medici Roasting and had an incredible experience thanks to barista Nathanial. He crafted an amazing cappuccino that was perfectly balanced, with rich espresso and velvety caramel foam. It was one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had in a while and truly a testament to Nathanial’s skill and dedication to his craft!

Ordered a coffee asking if it was gluten free and got a *pretty sure* and ended up getting really sick for the next cpl days. Be careful who you ask bc they don't know what's in their syrups or creamers

Excellent cappuccino. They have a “milk” for every diet - oat, almond, 1/2 & 1/2, Heavy Whipping Cream, etc.
This is a well used and well loved coffee spot with every type of carb filled treat one could hope for (just wish they had some low carb options, too - but they are hardly alone in being a coffee shop that only has carb food options)
I love curling up on their only couch, situated right by a beautiful picture window, that is framed by a pretty flowering vine.
Some people are prone to having work phone calls inside - but again this has become the norm at many coffee spots.
Overall a warm and inviting spot to sip coffee and get some work done.
Vegetarian options: This is carb lovers delight in the food department. There are items for vegetarians and vegans. Just not keto or low-carb folks.
Dietary restrictions: Great for all diets thanks to their diverse “milk” selection. High probability of the food having cross contamination, unless it comes wrapped for our celiac friends.
Parking: They have a small dedicated lot. If the lot is full, most likely so is the space.
Kid-friendliness: This is more for adults who work from home looking to have a break from their actual homes. It gives off library vibes in terms of ambiance.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a very long but useable ramp leading from the small parking lot. It might be tight in places.

Beautiful neighborhood location with high prices and so-so food. I enjoy Medici's atmosphere but my Golden Milk with coconut milk was $8.12 and pour over coffee (they were out of drip coffee late in the day) was $6.22. I don't recommend going out of your way to come here. There are other Austin coffee shops that offer a better value (Bennu etc), or better atmosphere (Mozarts, Cosmic etc)
