Great music jockey the night we visited. Fun and relaxing atmosphere. Enchiladas, tacos, and the dips are all tasty. Staffs offer great services. We also love their swings seats in the patio area. This place is great for friends gathering for food and drinks!

This was our first time at this restaurant, and the servers were not very attentive. We asked for a couple of extra minutes to look at the menu since it was our first visit, but they didn’t return for about 20 minutes—it felt like they forgot we were there. This place seems to focus more on drinks than on food. The overall atmosphere makes it clear that selling drinks is the main priority, while food is secondary

We were walking through Rainey St after ACL and saw they were giving out free margaritas for people with ACL bracelets. We got ushered in, and the bartender asked if we wanted regular or mango. We all went with the mango, which came frozen in a beer mug. I was surprised by how much they gave, and it was delicious! I didn’t really taste any alcohol though, but it was super refreshing and would’ve been perfect at ACL. Loved the decor, music, and overall vibes!

I visited this restaurant at ~3 PM on a Saturday with toddler. Upon entering, Kenny greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome that was the one highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, everything else left much to be desired: • The Mexican rice was poorly prepared not flavorful, and not at all what I’d expect from authentic Mexican cuisine. • The enchiladas had very hard, plastic‑like edges, while the filling was watery and lacked proper texture. • Overall, the taste was bland and underwhelming. Despite asking ahead of time to confirm that kids were welcome, it wasn’t like it was 8pm at night we got the sense during our time there that they didn’t want us there per the general manager.The DJ played good music, and Kenny’s hospitality stood out — but overall, I can’t recommend this place. One star reserved for Kenny and the DJ; food and dining experience dragged it down. I grew up in Austin and these places on Rainey and the downtown area are not the same doesent give the same homely hippie feel anymore .
