I prefer this Domain location by Whole Foods more than the downtown location on Congress. The service and drinks are great but also, this location has enough space to sit or have a quick meeting or even bring your laptop. Bathroom is clean too.

Is it open after 7 or really closes at 7?

Got a soy milk latte to go, it was very good. The space seems like a great place to work or study. If you have a capital one card I hear the drinks are half off (?)

Myself and my whole family are canceling all our business with capital one ! Credit cards loans all of it !! The attendant , clerk Fernando was rude ! Did not allow us to use one of the designated offices spaces , even tho it was not being utilized . We understand that certain spaces are not accessible but the way in which we got “kicked out “ was atrocious ! Capital one needs better employees or not to be putting their name on cafes like This one . What a shame and disgrace of a cafe .

If there were zero stars I would choose that. I called this branch because the Lakeline branch nearest me closed and I had spent a half hour trying to talk to a human on the help line. A simple $200 transfer that should have taken 1-3 business days has now been over 7-9 days long of an ordeal. The domain branch said they would just put me on the phone where I had already spent most of my lunch hour waiting. I'm ready to close my accounts here and tell everyone I know to steer clear of this craphole.

Great place to come for a cup of coffee or for work/studying. Also free parking garage right next door. Easy parking in Austin is a WIN! Staff is super helpful and friend and there's also ATM's available on sight. BONUS - if you're a Capital One card holder, you get a discount on beverages! What really wins me is they have private rooms you can reserve for up to 8 people. A great way to collaborate with your team! What's even better is they are huge about working with non profits. Room reservations are free for non profits along with opportunities for networking mixers to make an impact within the community!

Ok I love this cafe. My wife and I are here basically every weekend because we have a young baby and that's about the extent of our fun. Yes, we are old. But this capital one is great. 50% off if you use a cap one card, so coffee is $3. Can't beat that. Service is also very friendly. And the bathrooms are somehow always empty, so when coffee does its thing to your digestive system, you know you'll have privacy.

Love this location! Went to the one Downtown and it's just not the same. This space is super inviting, and when I joked that people are running their company out of this cafe, the barista said, "You'd be surprised." I really wouldn't, as if I lived in the area I'd totally make this my coworking spot. Nice staff and good drinks, at of course corporate pricing.

They sold me a bag of beans roasted in august. 4 month stale coffee beans….if I wanted stale coffee I would have gone to a grocery store.

Capital One cafe in the domain is one of my favorite places to work in Austin. Always recommend getting there early to beat the crowd and sit by a plug if needed or get one of the rooms if you have meeting and need a quieter space, as it fills up after 9:30am. Staff is always friendly, have banked with them for years so the discounted drinks/snacks help, and the noise is always at a decent level. Clean, friendly, efficient. Can't ask for more in a work space.

I'm updating this because I went again and this time, my latte was well made. I've been to coffee shops before where the baristas don't care how to properly steam the milk. I was under the impression that this cafe was just like that. I must have previously gotten drinks made by a barista under training because the quality difference was night and day. This time, the milk was properly steamed and the espresso ratio was perfect. I also got a cold brew with a splash of oat milk and that was delicious as well. I'm bumping up the rating to four stars from three because of the uneven experience. Otherwise I would think this cafe is 4.5 stars, all things considered (ambiance, seating, availability, location, quality of drinks, food and even the bathroom).

We enjoyed our first time visiting the Capital One cafe. It's spacious, while the noise level is on the lower end. However we visited on a weekday morning before lunch time started. They have recently made the switch from Peet's coffee to Verve, while they have a good but smell collection of snacks. Service from the barista was pleasant, professional, and helpful when picking our drink options. Located across Whole Foods within The Domain it can be a walk considering there is limited / timed parking close by, however the walk from one of the parking garages is not much if you can handle it. All in all, I would go here to relax solo, with a friend to casually talk, or to work on projects due to their limited noise levels and grand space!
