Sat at the bar, service was decent. Ordered the scarlet snapper. Bartender told me in advance that it would he at least 25 min. The fish was rubber. I couldnt cut it with a fork amd wasnt given a knife. Disnt eat it amd was still charged. Beer is cold bit if your hungry there are plenty of spots that serve way better food.

I have been going to Capt Bennys for many years and have always enjoyed my meals and the atmosphere. I dined at your restaurant yesterday and have to say I was most disappointed. The service was fine and the atmosphere was very quiet, hardly anyone there dining.
We ordered our favorite, whole fried catfish, seafood gumbo and a few fried oysters. The catfish was hot, the gumbo was cool, the French fries were cold and the oysters were horrible. Not a very good experience.

Service was great but food was not. I knew when the food came out as quick as it did that this was frozen food. The fried crab fingers and fried shrimp had no seasoning/no flavor. Everything was just blah. For $60 bucks (two dinners and an appetizer) I was expecting at least mediocre, but it was less than that.

Honestly, if I could give service five stars alone, I would, but this review is primarily about the management. We came in one night over the weekend and the management was extremely unprofessional and rude to their own workers. These servers are working hard to deliver great food and service to their customers, and that’s what they have to deal with behind the scenes?? It made me not want to visit again and I’d advise executive management or corporate to start finding others to replace them. Really disgusted me to see how they were treated.
