My family are not adventurous eaters but I convinced then to try Carabao. They loved it. My wife and 3 year old inhaled the chicken adobo. The picky 5 year old was satisified with the chicken inasal. And the 1 year old kept reaching into my boodle box for more pancit noodles. All was flavorful but nothing was spicy. In a testament to the food when I said it was time to go the 3 year old grabbed his chicken adobo and left his Dole Whip dessert behind.
Easy ordering system. We did online, but when we got there we wanted to order the cherry dole whip. So we ordered the ice cream on their self-order touch screen. At it on our ride home. Food was amazing. Everything had so much flavor. We had the pork sisig, the chicken adobo, pork tocino, pancit, garlic rice, and lumpia. One thing I noticed here in Austin is that we have very few Filipino restaurants. I guess because we don't have much Pinoy's here? Anywho, we tried this place because we were too lazy to cook and to also try out what Austin Pinoy Resto's have to offer. The restaurant itself is clean, they have a nice backyard with a potential to have some live music and bar. I dont have an issue with a Filipino restaurant not having Filipino cooks as long as they know how to prepare...
