I came here yesterday with my family & I just want to say that the food was plain & dry. Then they charged me A DOLLAR for cheese a tiny cup of cheese for my tacos. Like cmon now anybody who eats tacos wants cheese but for an extra dollar is insane! I bought two margaritas and I didn’t even get a buzz off of them. A waste of money, I will never go back. Also The plate was hotter than the food when it arrived😂 I’ve worked in food service before i know what they did! lol if you’re gonna heat the plate up ATLEAST make sure the food is hot too! Do not recommend this place. You will be disappointed 😔

We had a catered event in their private dining room for about 30 people and we were so pleased. The food and service were both great and the set up for a private event was perfect. It's hard to find a moderately priced restaurant with a really good event space and Casa Chapala worked perfectly. We will definitely use them again for any large gatherings.

David behind the bar was excellent! Very attentive from the time we sat down to the time we left. He also makes a great Mexican martini. Always a pleasure to see Lupe as well! We will definitely be back.

Great breakfast, servers were excellent, but we ordered an omlette and the bill came with a $3 surcharge for eggs. This is ridiculous..how do you add an upcharge for eggs in an omlette, just jack the price on the menu or post the ridiculous surcharge somewhere. It is a shame they did this, because we will not go back and we liked it.

Food is overpriced and service is very poor. The waitress didn't even put in my order after taking my food order. She did not even realize the mistake and didnt even check on the table for 30-40 minutes. I've had previous negative experiences as well. In one instance the same waitress brought me another drink even though I said I didn't want another and yet still charged me for the drink. The menu is nothing special either.
Update: my friend got food poisoning here.

I went here for my birthday last night and noticed something that is rare these days. The staff(and I mean every single person) was so genuinely kind. Start to finish was such a nice experience and the food was awesome! 5 stars all around ⭐️
