I met this cute woman there who shot pool and danced the night away with me... it was magical.
OH, and they have the best coin jukebox in town
Great beer great service.
IT'S CASINO BUT SOUTH
Garbage staff who spikes your drinks. Avoid at all costs. A female bartender told my wife that she needed to speak to her husband, me, before she ordered her drinks. This isn't the 1920s.
Excellent

best dive bar on the south side
It is a very neat atmosphere, have not been to a place as cool as this before! All the bartenders are fast and nice. They also have a small area outside to hang out just picnic tables.

Nice old school vibes bar. Nice, dark and cool with an amazing bartender, Joshua, with scary movies to boot!

It's a good old-school bar in South Austin with an old Austin bar vibe. With an old Austinite professional bartender. Pool tables. Hard rock played loud. Real people.
Of course, it's locally owned and an offshoot of the excellent bar/food business in downtown Austin on 6th Street Casino El Camino. Go if you like weird Austin and good people, this and the 6th Street location are the place for you.

Standard bar experience. The atmosphere and decor are somewhat Halloween-esque in some parts. I like the tvs that played the departed and weekend at Bernie's though.

Say what you will, but this is truly one of those ''Old Austin'' places. stiff and very affordable drinks, friendly and attentive staff, but also space for you to just chill by yourself if needed. A true dive bar. The lost star is due to the fact the food truck hasn't been open/available, and the OG Casino has delicious burgers- even then, I prefer this location.
