A chill vibe like a dive bar should have. Come as you are. You need to know some of the local spots because it's not easy to get to. However, not terribly difficult.

Apparently if you're of person of color, establishment like this in Austin, but I found one. DO NOT go here at all! Bartender Angela was very rude to my date and I and decided to give her attitudes. After a few drinks, she passed us two waters without us asking, saying we're too loud and decided not to serve us. As we were leaving, you told my date quoting "this is how we do it in South Austin". I'm totally shock at her level of unprofessionalism and cannot believe this is something that exists. Being new to Austin, I will DEFINITELY not recommend

Reasonable priced drinks, authentic blue collar/counterculture South Austin vibe, great jutebox, lots of space with private smoking area outside, like a biker bar but without the unfriendly attitude of one. Recommend it!

Big old bartender dude mean as a snake. We call him the "Drink N**** cause in order to get a drink you have do everything the way he wants so everyone has is basically walking on "egg shells" there. Also, he get extremely jealous if you talk to any girl in the place. I read recently that toxic people get very upset when they meet someone who is too genuine, happy, and comfortable in their own skin I suppose they think it is not sincere or something. In my case it is - oh well, their loss! Is just seems odd to let someone so clearly mentally unstable to run a bar. Be careful.

Neil and Dhamon were so friendly and so nice to me! I didn’t know what I wanted to drink and they recommended me a 512 IPA beer that I fell in love with! Great music great people, very friendly vibe! AND it’s dog friendly! Outside patio for smoking and pool table inside for fun! Great experience 5/5.
