I ordered kabob koobideh, which was phenomenal. I have had Fesenjoon, most popular Persian dish. It was absolutely delicious. The flavor, the chicken, the taste was outstanding. The atmosphere, the staff were great, nice, & friendly. I had a big catering order from Caspian Grill. The food, the texture, decoration on the food was phenomenal and perfect. Everything was delicious and perfect. I would go to Caspian grill for dates and meals.👌🏼
This is my favorite Persian restaurant in all of Austin. The food is always amazing and the place is filled with many antiques. Makes you feel right at the heart of Persia. They serve plenty of iconic Persian dishes, but their beef + chicken kabab combo with saffron rice is a must try. Top that with traditional Persian ice cream--the ultimate Persian food experience 😋

I wish I could give zero stars. The koobideh was an absolute disaster-flavorless and clearly low quality. The kashk bademjan tasted old and poorly prepared. I was traveling and ordered food to my hotel. The order arrived without utensils, and because I was hungry, I tried to eat it anyway, which resulted in food poisoning. It is shameful to serve food of this quality and call it Persian cuisine. Overall, this was a very bad experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very authentic Persian food. Many delicious diet-friendly modern options as well, such as the Lamb Shawarma salad (for a less gamey taste, opt for the Chicken salad).
The chef did an awesome job on the food. The staff there was very attentive. Get amazing food every time.

Our family has been here a few times and we can’t say enough positive things about the food at Caspian Grill. Our favorites are the lamb shank, koobideh, shawarma, and cornish hen dishes. The owners are gracious, super sweet and communicative. We came for dinner during their prep for a large event and they were kind enough to provide us with tea during the wait. The food quality is impeccable; it is always served consistent and fresh, with generous portions of the sauce, meat and rice. Please be patient here as they prepare everything fresh and is a family run business.
