I got the vegan Ash Reshteh and it was one of the best bowls I have ever eaten in my life. I could have easily eaten a 2nd or 3rd bowl. My husband ordered the Mix Koobideh and raved about how flavorful it was. The owner was super helpful with suggestions and super friendly, too! Such an easy 5 stars, no question! Great spot for vegans and meat eaters alike!!!

I’m usually a big fan of Persian food, but the experience I had at this restaurant was really disappointing. I couldn’t even eat the koobideh — the meat had an old, unpleasant taste. I used to live in Houston, and Caspian Grill there is far better in every way.
The quality of the food is one issue, but the self-service setup is another. It felt so strange. You have to get your own water, and they don’t bring the traditional plate of herbs and bread that every Persian restaurant typically serves. For a dish that costs almost $25, the experience and quality just don’t match.
It honestly feels like they’re trying to save money by not having a waitress, but servers usually earn their income through tips anyway, so it doesn’t seem like a smart decision. I even drove 30 minutes to try this place, and it ended up being a huge disappointment.

I rarely give this kind of praise. I eaten at amazing restaurants all over the world. This is some of the best food I've ever had. The owner helped us and told us about the food. I went with a large group, so we had a lot to sample and share. The appetizers included Kashke Bademjan, Yogurt & Shallot Dip (Must-o- Museer), Yogurt & Cucumber Dip (Must-o- Khiar), Caspian Beets and Feta, and Shirazi Salad. All amazing. The night could have ended there. I had the Lamb Shank. It fell of my fork. I literally had to scoop it up. It was not gamey at all. It was so delicious. It came with a mountain of rice seasoned with dill. An incredible pair. We took baklava to go and it was still delicious the next night. This place is a gem.
