Celis is a classic North Austin brewery that offers a very laid back vibe and fun activities inside. The brewery is dog friendly and has many games such as corn hole, plus it has some TVs that are always showing the game. Parking here can be a bit tricky as the lot is a bit small but they do have an auxiliary lot out back that you can park in. In that auxiliary lot there’s actually a couple of food trucks so if you need to grab a bite you can do so there as well.
There’s a stage out back where bands sometimes play at and the interior had sewing class being taught when we went so the vibes here are very casual and fun. The beer itself is delicious and they have many options you may struggle to find elsewhere, although you can see some of their beers in HEB. When we went the line was a bit long as there was only one bartender there and maybe about 30 people throughout the whole place, but that’s the only remotely negative thing we can note.
Celis is just a great place to grab a few beers with friends and spend a weekend afternoon watching some games on. That plus its relatively family friendly atmosphere makes it a neighborhood standout. We recommend this as a great place to just chill and take the edge off, especially if you’re looking to bring your canine companion.

Was going to leave 1 star due to irresponsible parents and their kids at breweries. Was hit several times by soccer balls by kids tonight. Parents didn't even say a word. Its like a daycare now anywhere we go. Kids shouldn't be at breweries if you can't keep them on a leash. Leave them home. Was walking back to my table with drinks when several came running through almost ran into me. Staff was very understanding and agreed. If anything make it 21 and up on the weekends. I dont know but im going out to less breweries than ever due to the massive children presence. I love the beers here and their outdoor area. Even with the signs up saying keep an eye on your kids the parents just drink and ignore. I mean I'll come back but if it happens again im done. Some breweries have gone to 18 or 21 and up due to this exact reason.
