they have two different 3 enchilada plates with rice and beans on special:
1. the chicken enchilada with red or green sauce and
2. the queso topped enchilada which you can get with picadillo or chicken.

They also had a $3 Dos XX special same night.

If you want to have half portions on their tacos and cold beans and if you don't mind that the staff is being biased toward you this is the place to go.

Enchiladas had no meat in them. Just tortillas and green sauce. It was WAY over priced. Waitress lady was rude, and there were only 2 other customers there, so she wasn't busy. First time, and last time I will be there.

I ordered the “Carne guisada” lunch special. Portion and food quality was good. I did find it weird that that charge for refills on fountain drinks. And the cost for the drink was over $3.

This restaurant has always been my go-to for crispy tacos which are made by hand. The green sauce is phenomenal and usually I'm sweating before I leave because I can't stop eating it. The red sauce is just as good they're caldo is amazing there's just not too much that I haven't enjoyed at this restaurant. The service is wonderful I hope that you will try it especially if you are a taco connoisseur

Atmosphere was good, service was fair but we were kinda neglected. We had to call the waiter over multiple times despite being 1 of 4 active tables. I ordered a small menudo and my friend ordered lengua tacos, the menudo basically tasted like spicy water. No flavor at all really and the tripe was too tender. The rice and beans that came with my friends plate were also incredibly bland. The lengua tacos were fine though. Over all the food needs some serious attention, the place is nice and it seems like a mom and pop shop so I encourage the owner to consider paying more attention to how the food is prepared and how it tastes!

Did the ownership change or something? I've been going here for almost a decade. It used to be great. Tonight they served me raw meat in the enchiladas. Another review said it might be canned corned beef hash but it looked raw to me. They have also raised prices an insane amount. I doubt they will be open much longer.

First and last visit, large bill for small portions. I love picadillo but this tasted and looked exactly like canned corned beef hash. I'm not a fan of raw corned beef hash, couldn't stomach it and NO REFUNDS! If they want to enforce an upcharge for a refill on chips then the first basket shouldn't be half full for 2 people! Your also charged for a drink refill and to use your debit card to pay your bill! What is going on? I understand times are hard but this is not the way.

I love this place . The owner is so nice and welcoming as is his wife and all the staff there. Not to mention the frozen margaritas are awesome. My favorite restaurant. I feel like I'm at home every time I visit. Thank you Checkos!
