I usually like this place a lot. Plenty of room to park, lots of tables. But I do not want to see images of women without tops on at a place where I am trying to study or do business. Would have made this a one star if I had invited a client to join me here.

The majority of the reviews will echo my own sentiments: Cherrywood Coffeehouse is a monument to Austin's legacy as a friendly, inclusive, and hospitable city. You are made to feel at home as soon as you walk in. The staff are cheerful, the food is tasty & reasonably priced, the atmosphere is convivial. A far cry from the "third place" coffeehouses that look like Swedish kindergartens. I love this place. I hope you do, too.

Casual Austin restaurant. Had the American breakfast. Yum. First time I have come close to leaving bacon on the plate - very generous servings. Great service. We will be back!

I ordered breakfast taco by mistake in place of tofu scramble. They took it back and charged the difference and did this with a smile and without making me feel bad. The food was awesome. Experience, great. Staff was delightful.

This is the second time I have been here. The first time, I got a Sunset Lane smoothie which was tasty, and the ambiance was good. The man behind the counter wasn't exactly welcoming, but that was no issue. Today, I go up to order with my partner and the lady does not say anything, just stares at us looking upset to be here. We're not sure if we are meant to just start ordering, she finally says, "Are you gonna order?". I ask for the Green Goddess smoothie, to which she says deadpan and genuinely displeased tone, "Is it smoothie day? People just keep making me make smoothies" not even looking up from the register. We pay, no acknowledgement as she walks off and tells her coworker the same thing about smoothies.I get my smoothie and its not blended properly, there is spinach stuck to the sides, and its chunky. Not to mention, the same woman who was rude to me was seemingly happy to serve other people when my party did nothing to deserve such rude behavior. I won't be returning, and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Meet a friend for a talk and enjoyed a glass of wine. Selection wasn't great but the Pinot noir was tasty. HAD to take a piece of pie home...it was tasty. Wish I lived closer so I could hang out here more often.

This is not a quiet coffee shop. The caffeinated energy is contagious. The coffee was good, but it did not woo me away from my fire roasted beans in town. I'd go back to meet up and chat with a friend.

Well as an outsider or non Austinite, I can't speak highly enough about this establishment. Pull up and immediately get that comfort and safe space feeling.

Now the food... AMAZING!!!! Portion size is crazy and yet was not expensive. 10/10 I would definitely recommend to anyone.

This is now a staple for me and will visit every time I'm in Austin, passing thru, etc.

fantastic food and fantastic vibe and fantastic service... this place is the closest thing to a good old fashioned Austin haunt as you can find these days.

Kid-friendliness: I would have no problems bringing kids here but it is an adult place.

My sister and I first found this wonderful retro coffee house in Austin last November and have been back a few times. The atmosphere reminds me of the best neighborhood restaurants from the 70’s and 80’s - before Austin blew up. The food is fabulous- homemade French fries and corn chips, freshly made sandwiches from local sources and great coffee. When we took my nephew there a few weeks ago, he said, “This is right out of Portlandia!” A very calm atmosphere for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend.
