First time on a recommendation from the hotel clerk and was glad he did. I like to find the local restaurants not the tourist traps and this is as local as it gets. I had the Homer and potato salad, normally I like my bbq wet, I went with it as prepared and I’m full and happy! BYOB
Parking: Parking is for a all the businesses and it got full quickly

Great hole in the wall BBQ joint. Can’t go wrong with the Sandwiches! My favorite is the chopped brisket but I just tried the “Barney” today and it’s pretty delicious!

If you have a taste for an East coast Burger this is the place to go, if you have a taste for brisket burger, this is the place to go... and their beer battered fries, heaven. The fam loves this place, I did not even know about it until recently because it's like a small hole in the wall establishment. And we know about those small mom and pop places they usually have some good ish. This is no different... I'm in love. Side note; I am not a fan of their BBQ sauce but I think that is a user preference.

I grab a "Barney" sandwich from here about once per week. The guys working are always nice and polite, and I've never had a bad sandwich. Very reasonable prices, which is nice when everything else including the grocery store seems to be sky high. Not the greatest atmosphere, but I'm there for food, not a 5-star dining experience. Great job Chiefs!

You can find better brisket in central Texas and that's fine because that's not why you go to Chief's. You go for every menu item with a man's name on it. Order a Homer. Order a Barney. Get a Joe Bob's beans to go. Well, you're already there so you might as well get some brisket too. Definitely the turkey. Hell you got two hands carry out some smoked ham as well, and a gallon of tea.
Eaten there twice ,decided to give him a second try just not impressed whatsoeperiod.I am sixty six I am from texas so I Have eaten barbecue everywhere Just boring food to me. Seem like nice folks.

The sides are my favorite ! The potato salad and green beans are unique and delicious. The brisket and BBQ sauce I can not get enough of either.
Places isn't much to look at but they have excellent brisket I just ordered a sliced brisket sandwich to go and I will be definitely coming back....yummy smoked flavor!!!!

This place is a dumpster, The food was overpriced leftovers, I would have felt better giving my money to the homeless, I swear these people are on drugs, Dirty looking, Im convinced this food was microwaved by a crack head, This was not fresh meat, the corn was frozen HEB brand, I get home and 2 items are missing from bag, I hated this place so much i didnt drive back for a refund, likely would have been told im lying, I spent 90 dollars on garbage, I feel sick after eating this food, It comes in a dirty brown bag from Heb, Bread was just from the store served in the store bought bag, total white trash establishment, So bad i had to write a warning for others, NO EAT HERE,
