Good food, delivered quick, the egg drop was a little thick, I'll stick with the wonton soup

Came here tonight with my family for my 30th birthday because I LOVE their sesame chicken and it's what I wanted for my cheat birthday meal. Everyone loved their food, my boyfriend said it was the best orange chicken he ever had. My grandma was obsessed with their egg rolls and even ordered more. I've been coming here since I was 13 and it still slams.

Been going here since I was in elementary school! Hands down favorite Chinese restaurant EVER!

Quick, hot and delicious. Chicken Majestic very basic dish but crisp chicken and tasty brown sauce!

It won't allow zero stars. Have lived in Lakeway since '96 and have regularly ordered from CP all those years. Was always good and tasty. However, about 3-4 years ago there seemed to be a change in staff, etc. (new owner?) and quality quickly began going downhill. Went from only average to just straight up bad. Kept giving it a chance in hopes old CP would reappear. Several weeks ago ordered 1 beef dish and 2 chicken dishes. Beef was very bland and veggies were like eating paste. The chicken dishes both tasted odd. Should have paid attention to that red flag. Me and the other person ate chicken and next morning both had cramps and diarrhea all day (no we did not have COVID). Beef did not get sick. Can't go by there now without feeling queasy. Never again! Truly a disappointing bummer that an icon was dragged down by corner cutting and not sweating the details.

LOVE THE FOOD! Fried chicken is 11/10, fried rice is amazing, and the service is great too. Best chinese food restaurant I have ever been to so far. Try it. Please.

Loved the Hunan Shrimp and Garlic Pork w/ pork breaded at my request. Delicious!

Bland. Flavorless. Cheap. Frozen. Stick to anything fried if you decide to eat here.

We love this place. The owners are so kind and honest. Delivery and takeout are super fast. This is my family’s favorite Chinese restaurant.

I ordered the lunch special, sweet and sour pork. I didn’t realize it was going to be fried pork. Was hoping for the grilled sliced pork that I’ve gotten at the mall before, which is so good. Completely disappointing but I did eat it all. The hot and sour soup was below average. The eggroll was very average. I don’t think I’ll be going back to this place.
