We went in on a Friday night before a movie. It was so good. And quick. We were the only ones eating in for a bit. We got the small portions with egg roll and a soup. And even the small portion is big. Loved it. Will definitely go back.

China Palace has a large menu, all favorites accounted for in my palate. I had been wanting Chinese food for a while, and this restaurant did not disappoint.

Food was prepared perfectly, and delicious!!!

It is family friendly, ADA compliant, and plenty of parking.

Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices for vegetarians

Parking: No issues on parking, plenty for all.

Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly and inclusive for all. They have high chairs for the little ones.

Wheelchair accessibility: AFA compliant with plenty of space to maneuver for anyone wanting or needing extra space.

Fattest plate of shrimp rice and it's soooo good. I grew up in NY and they make it like I remember. I love that this is two meals for me.

I’ve been eating here for almost 30 years. It’s fairly consistent and has a very unique Cantonese Wonton soup . I am also a fan of the hot n sour soup. Portions are generous and the folks who run it are great people. I more often than not do take out but eat in sometimes when it’s a family celebration.

Vegetarian options: They have many veggie only dishes as well as tofu available. My husband likes the Orange Tofu

Dietary restrictions: Just let them know what you can’t have and they can accommodate you.

Parking: The City of Austin closed the parking lot entrance so you have to turn before or after the building to park.

Food was less flavorful than expected and pretty good. Plenty (!!) of veggies with General Tso dinner ? service was fast and simple. Open kitchen style restaurant with really old style architecture. Worth going to again and again! I went to pickup for TooGoodToGo, and wound up ordering the general tso. I got a lot of HS Soup and rice, few brocolli and some steamed wonton for the pickup.

Vegetarian options: There is an all veggie section on the menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: The open kitchen style would accommodate a wheelchair, I believe.

This might not be everyone's cup of tea but it's just the type of Tatarstan we look for. Small, cozy, great food n service. And sometimes get to talk to the people sitting next to you. Every plate we've ordered is delicious n leftovers are even better. The portions are pretty large you could share them.

I came in for lunch expecting a buffet, but they only had lunch specials (the specials had a great price on them). The order came out fresh and hot!Ordered potstickers as an app, the sauce that came with them was really tasty.I ordered the twice cooked pork with wonton soup as my entree. Wonton soup was tasty, had lettuce in there which I'm not used to. The actual wonton was not the greatest I've had, but the soup base made up for it.The twice cooked pork was freaking delicious. The pork was nice and tender and the veggies were crunchy. Whatever sauce they use for it is amazing. I would bottle that sauce right up!Momma L. was really nice and attentive, she was working the room by herself! She even gave me a sesame ball at the end with my receipt. Very friendly! I would definitely come back again.

Got take out and it was very quick and woman running the place was nice.Food was surprisingly delicious. Great portions, super fresh. Spring rolls were excellent ?. Sesame tofu was good and triple delight got a thumbs up from my partner. And they have lunch specials which seems to be rare these days.If they put some rugs down, some nice lighting, and some music, this could be a nice dine in experience but I'd stick with takeout.

Really enjoy coming to this restaurant. They are always friendly, the food is excellent and the service is great. The only downside is that the floors have been stripped to the cement. While it is clean and the rest of the restaurant decor is beautiful, this can be a pit off for some. Myself, the quality of the service and the delicious food more than makes up for it. Well worth going there to eat. I plan to eat there often.
