Cannot stress enough that this is hands down the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I've never thrown out my Chinese left overs. This was the first time. The orange chicken was soupy.... When have you ever gotten orange chicken in water? Soggy and gross. The fried rice tasted old and gone off. And my sweet and sour pork was deep fried right? Only problem is that there was many prices that were half raw. Like the batter only fried on one side so it was just soggy batter and raw pork on the other side. Me and my wife were so disappointed. And it was extremely expensive too.
Congratulations on y’all‘s retirement. I really enjoyed the food. God bless you all

I've been cherishing this location for about 2 and a half years now. Food is always fresh and STEAMING HOT.

I ate here for the first time the other day and I enjoyed my meal very much. I went with one of my friends - she had the shrimp with veggies and a bowl of egg drop soup and I had the shrimp with cashews and wonton soup. We both liked our food. Everything was very flavorful and the portions were very good as well. Our waitress was great and very friendly. I'm glad I tried a new spot for dinner.

We tried China Palace for the first time from a friend recommendation and the only thing we regret is not knowing about this place sooner. We’ve lived in Austin for almost 15 years and this is the best place for affordable Chinese food. We ordered the broccoli beef, fried tofu, kung pao chicken, hot sour soup, sesame balls, and egg drop soup. Everything was seasoned and cooked so well! The beef was especially tender.
While we did order to go, we were greeted so warmly and graciously by the woman during pick up. We cannot wait to come back and eat in person!

Excellent family run restaurant. Food is delicious and consistent. Atmosphere is homey, they sat us immediately and served us tea. Takeout is also great.

At the risk of exposing my favorite neighborhood Chinese food restaurant, I come to tell any that will listen to me about the glory of China Palace.
There are some times in your life you need nourishment and you can't for some reason cook at home. This family welcomes you as though they've known you your whole life and the food is prepared with such consideration and skill that you feel rejuvenated after having a meal here.
Their food is simple and has stand alone quality. I like that their fried rice isn't greasy or full of random peas and things. All of the soups are on point. They have all the usual suspects, and the General Tso is one of the best I've ever had, comforting and rich-delicious. I've worked my way down the well-known items like honey crispy chicken (YUM) and am excited to venture out and try some lesser known items like mushy pork and others.
When I say care, I mean they even cut little squares of cardboard to put your togo food on top of in the bag (for stability) and cut a very precise corner out of the crab Rangoons to allow for ventilation so they are not soggy by the time you eat them at home. Not required by any means, but perfectly exemplifies the lengths this family restaurant goes to, to ensure their customers satisfaction.
I truly feel welcomed here every time I am here and I highly recommend you try China Palace and all that they have to offer. You cannot miss here :)

The food is amazing. Great taste and quality. I ordered the shrimp friend rice, egg rolls and the chicken wings. Everything tasted fresh and all seasoned. The owner is so nice and friendly. I highly recommend this family restaurant for lunch and dinner.

Given we came in on a slow Friday afternoon, we got a table right away and had very attentive service. We came in craving good Chinese food and got a comforting, warm, and delicious meal in return! This is definitely going to become our go-to Chinese place:)

Hands down the worst Chinese food I've had. The eggrolls were limp and greasy. The Palace Potatoes were limp and greasy and had a weird fishy flavor. The fried chicken wing in the PuPu platter was soggy, the crab rangoon was weirdly sweet. The hot and sour soup was bland and watery. The Garlic Pork was mushy and dlat flavored, supposed fried rice that accompanied it was tan and mushy. And I paid a whopping $50 for food that went straight into the trash..there goes my eating out budget for the week. What a dismal waste. Take my advice a avoid this place. It truly sucks.

The food here is delicious and a great value for the portion size you get! Definitely would be fun to go back and get a couple different dishes to share family style with a group. Lots of vegetarian options, the tofu here is great. The staff is kind and makes you feel very welcome. Yay!
Very affordable, great-tasting food, and the staff are very nice.

Stopped into this restaurant on a whim. Doesn't look like anything special on the outside, but loved everything about my visit. The staff was so nice, the food was delicious especially for the price, and the atmosphere was lovely. Would highly recommend.
