Delicious, well prepared food with attention to detail. Cuisine here is far superior to all other options in the area.

My husband and I have been dining at Cho since we dated, and while it's always been good, we had never received exceptional service as we did tonight. Our server, Chess, was very pleasant and made us feel like we were right at home. He was very attentive and customer-oriented. Thank you, Chess, for providing us with world-class service! We'll be back to see you!

Food is acceptable compared to some other choices in the greater Austin area.Very kind and friendly staff do not compensate for the excessive delay in waiting tables.

I went with my 3 nieces on a very busy Friday night with no reservation and the staff were extremely accommodating and got us a great spot. I really liked the fried rice. It's also family friendly, my nieces (between ages 8 and 12) were the ones who asked to go to this place from previous experience.

For its price range and market positioning, Cho is a great choice if you’re looking for a homely cozy Japanese restaurant in the Lakeway area. They have a decent selection of sushi, sashimi, and hot items like ramen or udon. Go for their lunch sets. Their staff is also attentive and remembers regulars.Compared with its peers in the greater Austin context, it may not be the fanciest or most popular option, but as long as no stronger rivals like Kome or Uchi or Fukumoto enter the Lakeway area, they’re the leading choice within their locality.

I appreciate that they don't smother on the Japanese mayo but the rice could use a bit more seasoningVegetarian options: Veggie maki rolls

My husband and I have been to many restaurants before, and none of them could give us the most delightful experience we had here at Cho Sushi! The food was out of this world. After the mochi ice cream and fried cheesecake, we felt reborn! ? Best of all, the servers know what they are doing and helped us enjoy every single minute of it. An unforgettable experience and an unforgettable memory. Thankyou Cho Sushi for making our anniversary enjoyable. We will be back!

We had the bento boxes on the lunch menu: sukiyaki and salmon; they were delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the service was excellent. It’s a small place, but very clean and tastefully decorated.
