As a lonestar Korean American in Austin, I sometimes long for authentic Korean food- not fusion, not street/bar fried food. I hadn’t been to Chosun in a while, but it seems like they changed owners or something bc the quality of the food and banchan was vastly improved from what I remember. They gave numerous banchans that were fresh and delicious, I ate them all up! I got the mul naengmyun, which was refreshing and delicious as well. This will be my go to Korean spot in Austin from now on!

10/10 would recommend. My husband and I have been here a couple times and every single time we are not disappointed!! We brought a friend and he agreed it was fireeeee! My husband said the food made him smile and I’m saying you need to try the bbq set C with the corn cheese. You won’t be let down

REALLY REALLY GOOD FOOD. Try the chefs special Galbi, can easily feed up to 3 - 4 people. Sides are also wonderful, worth a try for sure!

It was clean and delicious. The taste is not the same as in Korea, but it is almost similar.

Not my favorite Korean bbq. I always get the table you can cook your own food at. The pork ribs are amazing but I don’t like the chicken and the bulgogi and spicy beef has a weird texture and taste. It’s not terrible, but it’s not my top choice. I have grown up eating Korean bbq, so I’ve had it plenty of times in my life. If I need it and I can’t go to my favorite place, this is a decent runner up.

This place was amazing!! I tried so many new dishes and I liked most of them! This is now going to be one of my favorite places in town. The marinated short ribs were soooooo good. I was living in the moment so didn’t get much pictures. I might have to give this place a 10/10! The services was amazing also, felt like long term friends that became family. We loved it! Oh cheese corn and dumplings 10/10! Everything was literally amazing!

I am VERY picky with korean food. I’ve had it in the DFW and Houston area where there is also authentic korean food and this is the BEST restaurant i’ve ever had. We had korean cold noodle, the dolsot, and galbi and seafood udon. The Udon is NOT bland you just need a couple sips to really appreciate the seafood and vegetable broth. Everything was incredible and staff was so sweet. Great service, incredible quality food. The banchan (side dishes) were such great quality as well - we even got raw marinated crab, which is an option to order as well. Thank y’all. We will literally be back tomorrow?

I loved Chosun Galbi since the owner had been changed. They provided more than 10 side dishes and everything was so amazing.

Great K BBQ, Outdated Interior, and Mixed Feeling about the Food. Friendly staff. The place needs a good makeover. I don't think the owner has been to any other new KBBQ restaurants. Certainly, they have the great Korean BBQ that anyone can enjoy, but many other dishes aren't so good. ? They truly have one of the worst tasting cold noodle soup, 냉면. Who doesn't love MSG in their Asian dishes? However, their Kimchi stew, 김치찌개 and other stews aren't edible even with MSG.... Some of their side dishes were great, but many of others were you guess.... I don't know if they are offering the mixed cuisine experience ?. I will definitely come for more KBBQ. I really hope the owner or management will invest more to improve their food quality ?.

Ordered Sicy Pork Galbi Jjim and the dish looked great! But the taste is just salty and spicy. What happen to this place? How come the side dishes are taste better than the main?
