Food and atmosphere were on par with other Chuy's restaurants but man the service needs to improve. My family and I came in after traveling, it was about 4pm so the restaurant was not busy, maybe 5 to 6 tables and a couple people at the bar. We sit down and wait about 5 minutes before our server comes to let us know she will be right with us, which during a busy shift I can understand but as I mentioned wasn't that busy for a restaurant, especially not even close to a busy night for Chuy's. Long story short, multiple items forgotten or we had to ask multiple times. Our order took forever, food came out right at the same time as other tables who sat after us (they sat after us probably 20 minutes after we sat down). The bus lady who spoke little English was probably the best person and most helpful there. She refilled our drinks, salsa, and chips before our server did. Didn't see the manager doing table touches or I would of brought this up to him, he was running food most of the times I saw him.

Why do the servers look so slovenly? I have been coming here for years and I just love the food but the server this time was so high she could barely carry the tray, she had a big sore on her lip and she kept calling me "my homegirl"... I don't know her, have never been into tatoos but she had so many I couldn't tell where one stopped and my server started., lol!! All the joking aside, we love this place but I won't be back, I had to ask 3 times for tea and I never got silverware! Please Chuys... Hire new waitresses!!! You can do better!!! We love you, we won't sit in Christa's section again.... Live and learn Austin!!!
