An Old Austin favorite. Reliable food and service. Delicious thin crust pizza, Italian favs like pasta and meatballs, classic Caesar salad, Alfredo sauce. Plus fish and chicken. I like the sides, beets and Brussels. The only down side is the noise level. The room is loud!

As always, great food, service and ambience like a busy neighborhood eatery. It can get loud only because of the flooring and sounds dynamics. We went early so the crowd was only beginning. Appetizers of calamari and also fries were great and tasty, light. Salads of arugula and Caesar were fresh, and Classico pizza was excellent. We usually get the roasted chicken but tried to be different tonight. Also highly recommend their crème brûlée...always on target.

I remember Cipollina as a cute, quaint neighborhood spy with authentic Italian food. Server was the key down. Referred to wine as “flavors”. Server wasn't attentive, constantly flagged her down, requesting items. She didn't have valuable suggestions for food or wine, seemed neutral and less than excited to be there. It was also loud. Requested gluten free pasta, pretty it wasn't.

Always great service and the food was delicious. We have been coming here since we moved to Austin in 2000. Never disappoints!

A small local restaurant in a plaza setting across the street from Josephine House. Picked the restaurant based on location and rating because we were meeting friends who were coming from the Tarrytown area. The food was good, our waitress was personable and attentive and, overall, we had a nice time. We were there early, around 4 pm so there were only a few other groups. Noise level was good but I'm not sure what it's like when the restaurant is full. Prices were reasonable (as much as eating out anywhere is these days) and we ended up at about $80 per couple for two entrees, a bottle of wine and dessert. Free parking was available, always a plus in the city. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop.

This is a warm, friendly neighborhood place with great food. A solid performer and not too fussy.

WOW!!!! The food was unbelievable. Service was impeccable and quick. Amazing value for the quality. We will make this a mainstay FOR SURE. Eleven out of ten.

A standing favorite. Best pasta in Austin. Always quiet, hospitable. Only downside is no liquor if you feel like a cocktail. Most of the time I don't miss it - a nice glass of red is a perfectly acceptable option. We used to live around the corner and go most Fridays. Now that we've moved we still drive back to the old neighborhood to eat there. I'm so glad it continues to thrive in a town where so many great restaurants still don't make it.

The food and service are both excellent. The owner came by to check on our experience. And our server circled without interrupting us, so that when we needed something (another glass of wine for example), she was right there to ask. Very good neighborhood restaurant.

We always enjoy our meals at Cipollina and our birthday celebration was delicious! The shrimp scampi is delicious and they have amazing meatballs as an appetizer.
