Okay these are probably the most legit (& satisfying!) tacos I've found in Austin thus far. Austin seems to be awash in tacos. Some are okay, some are sub-par, and many are very expensive for what you get... CJ's doesn't fall into any of these categories. The tacos were generous, balanced, dynamic, flavorful, and satisfying. I only had the corn tortillas because that's the style I prefer: and they were delectable. I read somewhere that they are homemade...

Finally gave this place a try after hearing lots of good things about it from my co-workers. The wife and I were not disappointed! The food here was better than expected. The brisket taco is definitely worth it and the chicken taco had great flavor. The Birria taco with the broth sauce was great! Do not hesitate to stop by and pick up some great food. Good vibes while eating here also. Will definitely be returning :)

Literally the best breakfast tacos ever!! And not just a classic “picturesque” instagram spot. Actually a cool food truck off the road somewhere owned and run by family. Service is so so good and friendly and seriously tacos are to die for. You’re missing out if you don’t eat here!
