Variety of fresh oysters but nothing stand out especially after factored in the price. Not a fan of the clam chowder either, lots of celery and not enough clam or clam flavor. Not sure why hot sauce was added on top instead of making it an option. Lobster roll with fries were great. Great drink cocktail with reasonable pricing. Had the seasonal blue line tilefish which was perfectly cooked and surprisingly delicious.
It's always a great food experience at Clark's. Oysters, crudo, crab cake, Mac & cheese, and octopus were delicious.
One of the coolest and tastiest restaurants in Austin. Service was understated and excellent, with an understanding of all points of service. Food was delicious, thoughtful and able to be lighter side, which is not always easy to find. Started with oysters, bread, and crudo - which was my favorite and a must. Skate wing was beautifully cooked and simply served, not overcomplicating a delicious dish. Had the cioppino as well, which was richer than expected but had a nice kick. I order a dessert to literally have one bite, their cake was killer and we ate all of it. Highly recommend, if you can grab a table.
Always excellent as usual; the service was superb. I must insist that the Vasc cheesecake is a crime. As a Spaniard, I must suggest to revise the recipe, as it bears no resemblance to authentic Vasc cheesecake.

Visited my buddy who lives in Austin and ate here around Happy Hour. The service was A+, and oysters and crudo are a perfect setup to drink a martini or three.

This place is excellent. The lobster roll is one of the best I’ve had and the crab Louie salad is on point . My son gets the oysters and said they are really good as well . Everything is fresh and well executed. A must when I visit Austin !!

Always a great choice. Oysters, steak tartare, octopus, crab cake, crispy snapper, burger, steak, crab Mac and cheese, and the basque cake - some of the many amazing dishes!
Good product but some misses in both service and presentation (Tabasco in the chowder, pancakes being served burnt, very slow pacing from the kitchen). That said the oysters were delicious, the staff pleasant and eager to fix/assist with any issues or questions. Overall a nice meal with a few small hiccups.

Shout out to Daisy and the team at Clarks. Had a super frustrating experience earlier in the night and they totally turned the whole night around for me and my mom, who's visiting from out of town. They sat us quickly with no fuss and they were super attentive the whole night during dinner. Happy to give my money to one of the Austin's finest and best since 2012. You have to get the clam chowder, linguine and clams, and get the chocolate mousse too. Drinks were on point and chefs kiss again for the service. Although they were busy on a Monday night the staff treated everyone kindly and with respect. Thank you Clark's. Will be back!

I love the vibe at Clark’s Oyster Bar. We sat on the patio, which is shaded and perfect for people-watching and just relaxing. Service is friendly and attentive.
We’ve tried every oyster on their menu, and each one was excellent with great brine, texture, and variety. The crab cake was another standout, crispy on the outside, rich and flavorful inside, and perfectly paired with the salad and pickled shallots.
