This food truck was at the ACL GA+ Lounge, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the chicken pad Thai and egg rolls.
The pad Thai had decent flavor, but the chicken was pretty dry and the portion size was on the smaller side. Definitely need the lime in my opinion. The egg rolls, on the other hand, were really good--crispy, warm, and flavorful. The order came with three vegetarian egg rolls which tasted better than expected.

I ordered chicken pad Thai and crab Rangoon, waited for over half an hour and saw that their power went out. They clearly saw me sitting at the table directly in front but didn’t make any effort to inform me of the situation. It took me walking up to check on things for them to give me a refund. How much longer would I have been waiting if I didn’t go up there myself?! Super disappointed because I was really craving some noodles but after the most recent reviews maybe I dodged a bullet. Also the lady taking my order didn’t seem to speak English either which wasn’t helpful.

I’m currently at their location. Everything I attempted to order, they were out of and the lady taking my order couldn’t speak a lick of English! I just turned around and went to another truck! Cheap food truck owners not hiring and paying someone who can understand the customers!!! Horrible experience!!!

Literally the best food in Austin, I make frequent trips from Dallas to Austin just to grab a bite. Also Luis is always friend and exemplifies the cool calm and collect Coat and Thai feel. He’s definitely a great addition to the Coat and Thai team. 10:10

I love this Thai food truck in Austin! The owners are super friendly, and it’s the perfect pick-me-up — like a warm blanket after a day of swimming at Barton Springs or Lady Bird Lake. The yellow curry is one of the best I’ve ever had, and I also really enjoy their pad thai and pad see ew. Consistently delicious food with a welcoming vibe — can’t recommend it enough!
