The theme of this place is utterly confusing
Downstairs the dance floor has a piñata as well the head of a sarcophagus, which is certainly a curious choice. More confusing yet was the Shrek themed cocktail menu, which featured such drinks as Swamp Water and probably some other bizarre names. I had a coconut red bull drink (not that good). The Shrek theme seemed to have no relation to anything else in the club. Music was ok at first since the DJ played One More Time, but after the bots there was nothing of note. The rooftop setting is neat I guess, but I probably wouldn't come back
Last night, I had to report something about a customer at the bar and the kindness, swiftness, and urgency to respond accordingly was impressive. Thank you for keeping people safe and advocating for customers. It really made our girl group have a new sense of hope with how the team of men were so attentive and ready to do the right thing. Gushing over your security and bartender!!!!! Coconut club stan forever.
Pros: It’s outdoor (rooftop) so it’s amazing in hot weather or once you’ve been dancing. The music is good and they play a lot of good music. Also the paintings are very nostalgic for millennials.
Cons: The drinks were VERY watered down. To the point that we stopped ordering them from the bar & just went to the bar next door to drink and then came back to dance. The first DJ that was there would only take requests for money. This was the beginning of the night when it was just a bachelorette group and me and my 2 friends. We noticed as multiple people went to request songs and they were informed they had to pay. This was fine until we noticed other people requesting songs and they were not being charged. The difference was the ones who were told only for pay were white and the ones who were played without fees were African American. My group (of different races) decided to test it and the theory proved true. Then the first DJ said “Last call for Happy hour!” So we went to the bar and we were told there was no happy hour.
If you take it for a throw back dance area, it’s great. I don’t know that I would go back for a night out but I would stop by for a song or two if already out.
tyler is the sweetest man/bouncer/human ever. he made us feel so cared for & safe. give that man a raise.
Great place with good drinks and music and plenty of room to dance. Would like it if the outside speakers to the first roof top were fixed so they weren't cutting in and out with the music. But other than that I'll definitely be returning.
Overwhelming waste of time and money.
The music they play is some of the plainest most boring stuff I've ever heard. Everything was sticky and the music was so loud a good number of the speakers were blown out so the quality was pretty poor. It's not even like they played metal or anything. It's all bargain bin dubstep at best.
I paid $20 and stayed for an hour, easily the worst way I could have spent my money. I didn't even get a drink because they offered primarily just canned American beer and seltzer. I went home and drank my own alcohol afterward and had a much better time. 0/10 will never go again and I will warn my friends to never go as well. This place is bland, lame, and super packed.
Dance dance! Themed rooms, you pick your vibe, recommend.
Fun place.... Caught the end of a Saturday afternoon show.
BEWARE! Shady practices! Ordered a couple drinks. Their cost was higher than I anticipated. Gave cash to the bartender who asked if I needed change. It’s not well-mannered to ask that. As a bartender you should just give the change back.
I asked what the cost of each drink was. He showed me the amounts and said the rest was taxes. He did not mention that he’d included a tip for himself already and then had the nerve to ask me if I needed my change. It just wasn’t adding up as it seemed like a 30% tax rate. I went back for two more drinks and this time another bartender came to me. I tried to bring up to his attention that I had just been charged 30% tax on my previous round and asked for a receipt this time. He seemed bothered and gave me attitude for that and for mistaking the name of a drink. Then he rolled his eyes when I chose not to print the receipt I requested. I didn’t hit print because it did not show me what each item cost. It was just the total plus tax. What I got from him was a dismissive and belligerent attitude. I took the drinks back to my friends. Then the other one who’d helped himself to my money gave me attitude too and mouthed that “It wasn’t that serious!” Trying not to be a Karen, and in a calm way, I went back to the bar to talk to a different bartender to get a contact so I could write an email to management about this. I got Kai (spell?) who was very receptive and professional. I’d come back here just because of her cool demeanor and awesome personality. The interaction with the other two male bartenders let me down and I would not wanna bring friends here again as I did tonight. I did not care to get these guys’ names because I wouldn’t ask for them to be reprimanded, however, your staff needs coaching on this. Then, after reading previous reviews about this very same issue, it makes me think that it’s just the culture there to take advantage of their patrons. Makes me think twice about supporting this place.
Nothing extravagant or out of this world. Pretty empty for a weekend as well for a big city at that. Dance floors were small and not very roomy...

Love the drag show and vibe!!
When I arrived it was barely anyone there but it was still a vibe. I love the view and having whiskey while overlooking downtown was a bonus.
