I met a group of friends for lunch on a Tuesday, all tried and tested non-published food critics. THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST LUNCHES EVER! We ordered a myriad of items, most of which were biscuit centric. All forms of the biscuits were AMAZING. We had one of every salad they offer and a couple of the soups. Again, AMAZING! I had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with the cold green bean salad, a side of gravy for dipping. The chicken was the lightest I have tasted since my mother passed...
Great biscuits! I wish they had strawberry jam. Chicken and waffles were perfect. Great crust on the chicken and waffles were very light. Shrimp and grits were also marvelous. Perfect amount of spice and grits were not runny.
Our server, Travis, was excellent! Didn't hesitate to make suggestions offering detailed descriptions of the dishes we were considering. Food was delicious and atmosphere was perfect for Saturday brunch!
