Amazing food, service and the owner and staff are awesome they do a great job. Im literally sitting in the karaoke room as i write this review a bit drunkenly. All around awesome and the karaoke is well insulated that the reg peeps dont have to feel the pain of our singing. Def stop by.

MY sister and I ate at every Korean restaurant in Austin, TX. By far, Seoulju was the absolute best! The team is friendly and took great care of us. We felt like we were at home with family. The atmosphere is perfect! The food was top notch. I highly recommend this wonderful place!

From the outside the place looks closed. The doors are tinted really dark and the inside is all black. We were greeted and sat by by the owner. We ordered the spicy rice cake hot pot, chicken wings, and the bulgogi fries. It was all pretty good, wings got cold quickly so that was a bummer. We had the Korean chili sauce and garlic soy. The bulgogi fries were good but on wedges not waffle fries like on the picture. The hot pot was perfect for the cold week we had. We also got the house mango soju but it just tasted like sprite. Not much mango flavor. Overall it was okay. If I'm in the area I'd give it a second chance but nothing to make a special trip for.

The photo was of 5 whole wings. 5 flats and 5 drums. If the food wasn’t enough to sell you on this spot, the owner is arguably one of the coolest owners I’ve met at any restaurant. Be aware there is a 20% gratuity but this place honestly deserves a 20% tip anyways.

I've been here a couple times now. Most recent visit was a Wednesday night when it was just the owner and 1 other guy working front of house. The owner talked to us, took our order, recommended some mixed soju drinks, and even took a shot with our table. The liquor filled boba is quite a cool treat. Very nice person. Food was great. We got kimchi fried rice, corn cheese, pork and octopus, and soy garlic chicken nuggets. All great food. Highly recommend.

I LOVE this place so much. After eating Korean food for 20 + years I’m glad to have this place in Austin. They definitely have the best KFC hands down in addition to several classics and innovative dishes. I’m pleasantly surprised with how good the kimchi and seafood pajeon taste. It’s a family owned restaurant and you can feel the warm hospitality come through. Great place to bring friends and enjoy some soju and amazing Korean food variety.

If you’re looking for delicious Korean food, you have to visit Seoulju. The service here is amazing, especially Paul, he treated us like family and gave us great recommendations! The kimchi pancake is delicious and the corn + nuggets combo just switches up the food game in an amazing way! Every drink is beautifully made, but I always try to get a house recommendation for the best flavors.

John, the owner, was so incredible from the start. He welcomed a 7 group party at 10:45 with open arms and gave us a lovely introduction. The environment was so friendly including meeting the owners little brother and other amazing staff. We were so well accommodated with the high quality service. The food came out so great and even included so delicious bonus items! The music was great, facility was clean, and our plates were empty! We simply didn’t want to leave the restaurant after the delicious military hot pot!I left my wallet at the store and contacted the Instagram which I got an immediate reply at 1am! John helped me out and was so kind and forgiving. He even allowed me to come pick it up without me feeling like an inconvenience! Definitely would come again! I love the SEOULJU FAMILY!

Great food in a good atmosphere. The owner John was exceedingly friendly and engaging, and he made a point of keeping his kitchen open late for me when I came in off of a late flight. Will absolutely come back every time I'm in Austin.

Wow!! This has been the best restaurant experience in Austin that I have had! I cannot explain how amazing the dinner we had tonight want. If the owner John is there, you will have the best night. The servers are amazing. I can’t explain how amazing this evening was. Can’t wait to bring everyone visiting here!
When you first get there, don’t be put off by the area. It’s in a shopping mall that looks like it’s seen better days, and the entrance to the restaurant could use some updating. You’ll need to join the Waitlist on Yelp before you’re seated. Each table has a QR code you can scan to order and pay for your food. We did not have to wait long for our food. Inside, the walls are painted black with chalk drawings and words and phrases. There are TVs playing K-Pop music videos (a standard for most places of this nature). We ordered the fried chicken. It was moist on the inside and very crispy on the outside. I asked for the sauce on the side. We also had the bulgogi kimchi fries. The meat was so tender and flavorful. My husband ordered the pork belly and octopus. They brought it out on a sizzling hot pan. It was delicious. We only drank regular soju, but they do have a good amount of mixed drinks and soju cocktails.Overall, we really enjoyed our experience l, and the staff was super friendly.

Seoulju is a nice spot for meeting friends and trying Korean comfort food. We ordered the Corn Cheese, Beef Bulgogi, and Fried Chicken Thigh Nuggets. I particularly enjoyed the way they served the cheese in a pan, which kept the corn hot for a long period of time. It was a good appetizer and paired well with their fried chicken. The chicken itself was crispy and perfectly coated with sauce and sesame. Overall, the food quality was good, although nothing extraordinary.

Severs were very friendly and attentive. Very welcoming atmosphere. They have karaoke here as well. May come back and reserve with them to try it out.I would not get the military hot pot again though. Me and my friend has some stomach issues the day after. Perhaps it was too much for us.We got the house made soju. Strawberry cheesecake and it was very good. Wasn’t strong but we both loved it very much. We may come back just for drinks and small bites.

I’ve been coming to Seoulju for yearsssss! Way before it was even renamed Seoulju. The food here is authentic and phenomenal. I’ve tried mostly everything from the fried chicken to the house made soju. This is the place to come with friends late at night to hang out and listen to K-pop in the background. They use the toast app for orders which I really appreciate as an introvert and it’s just so easy to keep checks separate. Plus the owner John, when he is there, is so personable and kind. The whole staff is nice and helpful. One of the best Korean restaurants in Austin hands down!
