Amazing food, service and the owner and staff are awesome they do a great job. Im literally sitting in the karaoke room as i write this review a bit drunkenly. All around awesome and the karaoke is well insulated that the reg peeps dont have to feel the pain of our singing. Def stop by.

MY sister and I ate at every Korean restaurant in Austin, TX. By far, Seoulju was the absolute best! The team is friendly and took great care of us. We felt like we were at home with family. The atmosphere is perfect! The food was top notch. I highly recommend this wonderful place!

From the outside the place looks closed. The doors are tinted really dark and the inside is all black. We were greeted and sat by by the owner. We ordered the spicy rice cake hot pot, chicken wings, and the bulgogi fries. It was all pretty good, wings got cold quickly so that was a bummer. We had the Korean chili sauce and garlic soy. The bulgogi fries were good but on wedges not waffle fries like on the picture. The hot pot was perfect for the cold week we had. We also got the house mango soju but it just tasted like sprite. Not much mango flavor. Overall it was okay. If I'm in the area I'd give it a second chance but nothing to make a special trip for.

Not sure why I hadn't written a review for this place until now, but this is one of my favorite places to go with friends. I'd say it's best to come here with a larger party since the portion sizes are pretty good and lots of things are sharable.Things we order almost all the time with friends is the army stew, whole KFC, fondue chicken nuggets, octopus and pork or squid stir fry, seafood pancake, bulgolgi kimchi fries, and of course some soju. These hit the spot every time and you really can't go wrong with much of anything here. This place is BUSY all the time so it's very likely you'll have to wait. You can use the Yelp app to go ahead and add yourself to the waitlist though so you can at least get in line ahead of time. This is a favorite of my climbing group since we finish up at the gym around 11pm and they're open til 1:30am on the days we go. It's always a good time here, food is great and the staff is friendly. The only small complaint I have is sometimes service can be slow, but that's understandable.

The photo was of 5 whole wings. 5 flats and 5 drums. If the food wasn’t enough to sell you on this spot, the owner is arguably one of the coolest owners I’ve met at any restaurant. Be aware there is a 20% gratuity but this place honestly deserves a 20% tip anyways.

This is definitely the place to be if you and a group of friends want to hang out and enjoy Korean food. The environment just oozes a good time, oh and they have karaoke! The owner and staff were very welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the classic: seafood pancake, wings, army stem & kimchi fried rice. Everything came out great, the highlights were the wings. The pieces were big and fried super crispy. This is a great spot for large group or anyone with a craving for quick Korean cuisine.

I've been here a couple times now. Most recent visit was a Wednesday night when it was just the owner and 1 other guy working front of house. The owner talked to us, took our order, recommended some mixed soju drinks, and even took a shot with our table. The liquor filled boba is quite a cool treat. Very nice person. Food was great. We got kimchi fried rice, corn cheese, pork and octopus, and soy garlic chicken nuggets. All great food. Highly recommend.

I came here for a birthday celebration which included great Korean food and Karaoke! We had a reservation for our group of 10 people in the Karaoke room for $30 an hour. if you do not have a party over 7 people you will need to join the waitlist upon arrival as they do not take reservations for small parties. You place your orders virtually using a QR code and it's "pay as you go/order" 20% tip/gratuity is automatically added to all orders.I ordered the spicy chicken plate, Dakgalbi (shared between 3 people) corn cheese, and Koren fried chicken and a lot of Soju! I will start by saying this house soju flavors were great! (Sake is a rice wine--pretty strong alcohol for me and this is not Soju and Sake are not the same. Soju is a made from fermented rice but it's more comparable to Korean vodka...it's delicious!) The only house flavor I didn't like was the mango flavor. They carry a brand of Soju which is $16 per bottle and the brand is called Jinro. it's really good as well and I prefer it overall I loved the Korean fried chicken it's a classic and extra crispy. I tried the garlic flavor. The spicy chicken was fresh and just a blander option of the Dakgalbi without all the rice cakes. I wasn't a fan of Dakgalbi because I don't like the squishy texture of rice cakes. Cheese corn is just want it sounds like, my friends enjoyed this starter. The food was fresh and the service was extremely quick! I would avoid ordering tofu dishes as it isn't seasoned well. Great place for a causal dining or karaoke night with friends!

I LOVE this place so much. After eating Korean food for 20 + years I’m glad to have this place in Austin. They definitely have the best KFC hands down in addition to several classics and innovative dishes. I’m pleasantly surprised with how good the kimchi and seafood pajeon taste. It’s a family owned restaurant and you can feel the warm hospitality come through. Great place to bring friends and enjoy some soju and amazing Korean food variety.

I came here on a sunday evening and this place was packed! Had to wait but it wasn't too long, when we were seated the owner came and sat with us and explained to us how everything worked and asked us if we had questions about anything. The place was bustling as there were people talking, music was playing, and servers were rushing. The food took a while to come out but when it did come out everything was steaming fresh. I scarfed down the wings and it was super flavorful and savory, it wasn't too overpowering. If I'm ever in the area again I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu!

One of the only Korean food places in Austin that hasn't been shut down right after I fell in love with it. I've gotten to-go & eating inside and enjoyed both immensely. It is on the more expensive side, as most good Asian food in Austin tends to me, but completely worth it if you've got the money to spend. The employees are such good sports, I asked one if the watermelon soju was worth it (watermelon hollowed out and filled with soju and whatever else) because of the price and he was super honest about it (we got it and LOVED IT) more than enough for 2 ppl, especially if one needs to drive haha. The wings were great but definitely not for those who don't want messy sticky fingers. It was fairly empty and the food still took a bit so make sure you're patient, it'll be worth the wait. The server/host was so sweet and came over to check on us frequently (but not to the point that I felt annoyed or rushed). We talked about anime and soju and stuff and at the end of our visit he asked to do a shot with us! I'm a bit neurotic when it comes to cleanliness and I wouldn't say it's the cleanest place on earth, but not to the point that it affected my visit. I loved the dim lighting and kind atmosphere, and I can't wait to come back.

If you’re looking for delicious Korean food, you have to visit Seoulju. The service here is amazing, especially Paul, he treated us like family and gave us great recommendations! The kimchi pancake is delicious and the corn + nuggets combo just switches up the food game in an amazing way! Every drink is beautifully made, but I always try to get a house recommendation for the best flavors.
