Walking up, it looked pretty cool and I was pretty hyped up for it. Service was average, the lady was straightforward but kind and the coffee came out quick. I got a cold brew, my go-to, but it was really acidic and weirdly bitter. Because of science that I'm not going to get into, cold brew (if done right) should be velvety, smooth, and rich. I travel around Texas a lot for work and always love stopping at new coffee shops. I discovered Streamway this morning, and it’s now at the top of my list. The barista was knowledgeable and took her time dialing in my espresso. It was rich and chocolatey, with balanced acidity and a thick body. Bonus points because its a really cool old airstream converted to a coffee truck! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Austin.
I love this coffee shop. The owner is kind and brightens my morning. I love going for a walk around the Mueller Pond and stopping by for a coffee. Especially pumpkin spice this time of year.
