They have the worst calzones. The dough is horrible, the ricotta is horrible and the pizza sauce is horrible. Paid $30 for two calzones to not even be able to eat much of it because it made me nauseous and tore up my stomach. This will be my last time to eat there and if I could have given it zero stars I would have. Me and my husband both threw most of it in the trash. Complete waste of money
The pizza is the best! Native Austinite, been going there since sometime in the mid 1970’s. Maybe around the Bicentennial, too long ago to remember. But the pizza remains the same. Once was a time I could do some real damage to a large Savage, achieving pizza coma. Now… two slices of a medium Savage are enough for pizza enlightenment these days. Love Conans!
Last weekend my mother-in-law wanted deep-dish pan pizza for her birthday. Not being fans of deep-dish pan pizza, we did a Google search and found Conan’s Pizza North. My wife made the drive from Round Rock to Conan’s on Burnet Road where she picked up 2 large deep-dish pan pizzas that I had called in. What a disappointment!!
