As a venue manager, I have worked with Contigo Catering for almost a decade and on many events. They have consistently provided our clients with great service and food, and are always up for a challenge!
contigo has catered multiple parties of mine and they are the BEST. they’re flexible, amenable, and they manage my relatively reasonable (aka totally outrageous) requests with grace and compassion. the on site service is always thorough, thoughtful and friendly. the food is always beautiful, and seasoned well, and never ever dull. as someone who has had them many times at parties, you will not go wrong with the tuna tartare chip appetizer.
We love working with the team at Contigo! It’s always a pleasure to collaborate with vendors who take pride in their work and service to their clients.
We hired Contigo for a holiday dinner at our home and it was the best decision! They think through every detail- from adorable place cards to custom cocktails to beautiful plates and glasses from table manners (their sister company). The staff was professional and approachable and the house was left flawless. It was a dream.
Everything they do is exceptional, from the food to cocktails to the overall experience; it's incredibly well put together and unique. I would hire them for any and every event I could!
I am in the restaurant business and was a guest at a large outdoor fundraising event that Contigo handled all of the food for. I am absolutely blown away with how they could give such great service and execute AMAZING food for such a large group. (Hundreds of people). Chicken isn’t supposed to taste so good! Especially in a catered setting.
I really am blown away at their high level of staffing and hospitality along with remarkable food. I hope all the good juju from helping a non-profit’s large event comes their way because every aspect of their catering was top notch.
Contigo catered our daughter’s wedding and we were absolutely blown away by every detail. The initial tasting was awesome and so fun at the sweet little house in Hyde Park. The food, service, presentation, and cocktails at the wedding were exceptional and had everyone raving. We are so happy we chose to have Contigo for our special and HIGHLY recommended them for any catering need you may have.
We hired contigo catering for our September wedding, which had about 50 guests. Catering was our highest priority for our reception, since both of us are extremely passionate about good food and cocktails. At first, we had a bit of sticker shock from the event requirements, but it ended up being worth every penny for Contigo’s attention to detail, luxury service, and more.
Lindsey was super helpful throughout the booking process, answering all of our questions, making adjustments to the menu, and organizing our tasting. Every Contigo team member we interacted with was very professional, and was super helpful when working with an event with lots of different allergies and dietary restrictions. The bartenders also did an amazing job, and we liked the signature cocktails from our tasting so much we ended up picking three of them.
We fell in love with the food from Contigo’s tasting, and it tasted even better on our wedding day. One of us works in food media, we had a few colleagues wholeheartedly compliment the meal – a rarity in wedding food. We did our dinnerware rentals through Contigo, and everything looked elegant and stunning on the rentals we selected. Throughout the wedding day our personal server, Grace, ensured we were taken care of all night long. We’d gladly recommend Contigo for a wedding or private event if it’s within your budget.
I worked for their catering company yesterday and me as an owner/head chef of a catering company I was impressed with their services provided

Contigo Catering is amazing. Their food is fantastic and their service is spot on. I recommend as an A++ catering company.
Thanks so much to Lindsey and team for being part of our amazing day at Stonehouse on Friday. Everything was flawless and people were definitely well-fed and very happy (including us)! We had a ton of people saying it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and we’d have to agree. Appreciate you all for helping us craft the perfect day and for making sure it wasn’t “just another average wedding meal.”
I recently hired Contigo Catering for my 40th Birthday Party and their team absolutely MADE the event. Their team was so professional and fun. All of my friends were raving about the gorgeous spread (especially the fried chicken bites and dips). It was the perfect way to elevate this celebration!
We had Contigo do a passed appetizer (a compressed melon with jalapeno - sounds weird but so so good) before a buffet taco bar. We had a beef, chicken, and vegan option for taco fillings, in addition to rice, beans, salsas and other toppings. The food was really good. Then for the Welcome Party after, they had more snacks - quesadillas, chips and dips - and passed desserts - a tres leches cake shooter and a churro blondie that was gluten free. The blondie was seriously the best thing the whole night and so so good. They had someone on staff attending to myself and my now husband so we didn’t have to get anything ourselves if we didn't want to. If it were up to me alone, I would give a 10/10 but my husband and his grandpa are allergic to onions. We had stated this before creating a menu or doing a tasting. We were very clear that we could not have onions in anything but onion powder would be ok. A couple of days before the event, they emailed saying that all of the things had onion. At this point I was so busy with other things and trying not to stress out over some last minute family drama that I did not advocate for things the way I should have. I said the rice could not have onions in it. Unfortunately while the rice didn’t have onions in it, the staff on site didn’t get the memo so my husband’s grandpa didn’t really get to eat much. So while their gluten free options were heavenly, I think more complex/rare food allergies may be a bit trickier to navigate. Grandpa and husband both enjoyed the food they were able to eat and I was definitely far more upset about it than they were.
